Claims to be a Mexican cuisine but I didn’t see a single Mexican in the restaurant. The food was mediocre at best no better than microwave package rice. I got the cheeseburger empanada which I would like to say for the price was tiny and underwhelming. I also got the rice and beans bowl which started at 15$ which was already outrageous and I added chicken on top not knowing it would be an additional 9$ for a small portion of cold chewy chicken. I also asked for a side of cheese to add expecting that to be free of charge like most restaurants but unexpectedly being charged 2$ for the smallest amount of cheese serving I have ever seen. Don’t get the chips and side! The waiter asked us if we would we like it before we had our meal giving us the idea it may be free or small charge but then they showed up with two trays of chips and the smallest portion of guacamole I have ever seen in my life and then proceeded to charge us 16$ each for the guacamole and queso(which was just melted shredded cheese no flavoring whatsoever). Our waiter seemed like he didn’t want to be alive and the lights were so low we couldn’t see our food and even had to request for a brighter light. At the end the price was outrages for a group of 4 and they added small charges which were not specified when ordering our meals. One of the worst dining experiences in my life made me outraged for my whole evening on the huge dent it made on my wallet. Expected it to be decent not expecting it to be perfect due to the already gramatically incorrect name (k pasa) which was actually quite insulting as a Latina. Come here if you want half your bank account drained and a meal you could have made at...
Read moreI’m very disappointed in this place, and it’s a shame because their food is quite good. I love their steak tacos and their tacos in general are solid. This time we ordered the fajitas. The food was good, but I was underwhelmed overall, as was my whole party. We paid $30 per platter and ordered two platters. They brought out very few tortillas and charged extra for more. The server was rude about the whole situation and pushed back even though we were right about not getting the correct amount of tortillas that are normally served. In my opinion, you should give as many tortillas as needed to get through the amount of food you brought, otherwise what’s the point of charging $30 for the dish? Thats not really the all inclusive price. Also, each dish had a tiny bowl of rice and beans and about a tablespoon of sauce. Compare that to a giant plate of meat, how is that the “standard portion” as the server called it? Also, the peppers, onions, etc. should all be served in separate bowls. It really should be a make your own fajita dish. This place needs to make massive improvements to their portion sizes!!! Additionally, I stopped going here this past summer because I got tired of the service. I find the servers to often either be rude or straight up seem to not know what they are doing. We were the only ones in the back room of the restaurant and I had to get up three times during our visit just to ask for basic things like silverware and water refills. I saw the servers just standing around doing absolutely nothing each time. I’m done going here. The great food just is not worth the rest of the experience being so unpleasant. I do not...
Read moreIts a great view, but the service and food is truly some of the worst I've seen. I am chef so I really dont like leaving bad reviews but this place has spiraled downhill and felt like a complete waste of money. It took our server 15 minutes to get our order, he just spent his time setting tables in a totally empty restaraunt, joking around with his coworkers, rather than being attentive to our table which was the only one in the restaraunt at the time. The "queso" was just half melted cheese, no seasoning, nothing. Just a small portion of coagulated half melted cheddar cheese for $15. The tacos also were really undesirable, the impossible taco looks disgusting, steak taco was flavorless, fish taco did not taste good at all. The plantains were truly awful. It was some kind of weird abbreviated Cinco de mayo menu with almost no options and everything we got was not just subpar, but appalling evem though the restaraunt was completely empty (no surprise). At checkout, we left a "thumbs down" only to be awkwardly addressed by our server as to why, and when we explained all of this he just stubbornly said "ok" and walked away. The manager was made aware of this, but never approached us or said anything to us. We just felt really weird and uncomfortable at this point. If I were the owner I would fire every single person employed there and start from the ground up. Its gonna be a rough...
