I was planning on emailing the business directly but there doesn't seem to be a way to do that via their website.
I ordered some food and received the wrong thing. When I tried to speak to someone about it the next day I was told that the manager would be in the following day, no big deal. When I was able to speak to her here response was "Next time you need to check your order". First off, their won't be a next time which is a bummer seeing as I have been eating at Espresso's for over 20 years at this point. Second, it's not the customers responsibility to make sure they are receiving the correct food when they order. It could have been such a simple exchange of an oh we are sorry, here is a refund or would you like us to make the food you actually ordered. Instead you just lost a customer, which I'm sure won't make a difference in a long run but it bums me out on a personal level to see how customers are treated. Small tangent, what they gave me I was allergic to and obviously couldn't eat.

I called and explained and asked if I could come back to swap it out. As soon as I got back to swap out the sandwich, the woman aggressively and accusatorily pointed at me and told me that I ordered wrong and continued to argue with me. She kept telling me that I ordered number 16, not 68 and was incredibly rude about it. I knew what I wanted and what I ordered, and it could've easily been misunderstood. It was so upsetting and uncomfortable that I told them to forget about the sandwich and I wanted, and I took the wrong order and left and will definitely not be going back there. If you do plan on ordering from there, make sure you tell them what you want and don't just give them the number on the menu. Read moreI used to sincerely love Espresso before it changed hands. While the food is still very good, now that the same chef is back in the kitchen, the service is rather fair. Several times now my order has been messed up because the people answering the phones don't quite listen to what you're saying, or what you're saying doesn't register in their minds. The woman who answers the phones sometimes - I believe one of the owners - is very sweet, but I think she struggles with the system at times. Recently I had an order charged incorrectly for more than what I should have paid. I tried calling to fix it to no avail, and I tried calling the next day - today - to fix it again, to get the difference refunded. I was told to "hold on" and have been on hold for 20 minutes now while I can hear other people's orders being taken instead.
