Mahar Moe Asian Cuisine — Restaurant in Town of Tonawanda

First time ordering from here . I got the string beans and beef, and egg roll and Thai basil fried rice. I will never go to another Asian fast food place again after today! The food was the freshest Asian food I have ever had in Buffalo. The staff although they spoke limited English, made it their mission to understand my order and make sure it was right.

I’m coming back to this place over and over again, I’m hooked!

2nd visit: had the pad Thai with double shrimp (worth the price) delicious and flavorful, second dish was the sesame chicken, very good taste, sauce and crunchy chicken bites, nice texture! BUT, it tasted so sweet , I had two bites and gave it away…if they can’t lessen the sugar I won’t be getting that again.

Update : been coming here almost every other week and have gotten shrimp and broccoli but today I ordered different..I took a chance on their double cooked pork. Flavor is good but it’s lacking something…meat…my dish was mainly cabbage that I could not get my fork to pierce …overall , lately everything I have ordered seems to be lacking protein even when I pay extra …taking a break from this place …inflation is hard...

The service is mediocre and atmosphere modest. We were rushed out one time because it was close to closing time. It was uncomfortable being brought the check with the food at the table and then being told that we needed to leave because they were closing in 30 mins. But besides this, the food is good! The pork hock is tender. Beware it is a lot of fat and pork skin you have to dig through to get to the meat, but worth it. Anything Kam Heong has a great savory, spicy flavor. The Singapore noodles are tasty too. We are not fans of anything Szechuan because of the numbing sensation from the Szechuan peppercorns. Everything comes out fast and hot. This was once my favorite place from food to quality of food but something had changed. The quality of food has changed. I didn’t want to post this but it’s been on my mind all day. I ordered lunch for myself and children. Took everything out of the bag, I thought! Only to go put my cookie wrapper in the bag it came in to find a qtip in the bottom of the bag. Horrified is an understatement. I didn’t even open the actual food so I called immediately. The man was nice and tried to resolve the issue but again I sit here hours later disturbed.
