Arango Café — Restaurant in Town of Ulster

Was struggling trying to figure out what to have for dinner and stumbled into this place for the first time. Ordered the chicken tacos, lengua tacos, rice and beans. It took a couple mins to get the order together but the food was fresh. Popped in the car and started the 2 minute ride home. My mouth started to water as the aroma from the food over powered the smell of baby vomit coming from the backseat from earlier in the day.

Finally I'm home and immediately get the food and start to dig in. The sauce provided has a tiny kick, just enough to make your taste buds dance and the flavors from everything combined will make you want to eat everything slowly to savor the flavor. The lengua tacos were extremely good with this deep beefy flavor that didnt overpower everything else. My only complaint is that the lengua wasnt shredded, it was cubed. More of a texture thing, but I will definitely be back again. Everything I had was great and the breakfast menu seems tasty as well. Didn't get to try dessert but next time it's on.

Ps. As a heads-up, I was informed Tuesday is taco Tuesday and you get a free additional taco when you order an order of tacos. Gonna pound me some tacos on...

With the Hudson valley being the up and coming place that it is, I think there are too many restaurants that try to do too much and be bougie and you end up over paying for mediocre food. Not this place!

I’ve been searching for quality, authentic and affordable tacos in the area and this spot is IT!This place is no frills, no nonsense, no lack of flavor! Everything was delicious, the restaurant and bathroom was super clean, service was fast and friendly. I can’t wait to go back and try some of their brunch options and desserts.

4 tacos for $12 is a steal! It was taco Tuesday so we got an extra one for free. Hubby and I both got the tacos, chip and salsa appetizer, an apple juice and soda. Plenty of food and total came to $34 before tip. Definitely give this place your business,...

OMG. 5 stars across the board. I ordered breakfast today for myself and a few coworkers. When I popped in to pick it up, I had no idea it was so charming in there (the décor and the staff)! The gentlemen behind the counter were so polite and very good-natured. Also, it was actually spotless in there. Obviously, the food was 10/10. I got the Chorizo Breakfast sandwich - it was hefty and delicious and just exactly what I needed today. I love that the chorizo is cooked right into the egg and that the avocado was perfectly ripe. Basically, I may have to rework my take-out budget because I'm going to be getting food here mucchhhhh more often. 😅
