Iām super critical and havenāt eaten at the new location yet, so my opinion may change, but Iām upreviewing 5 stars bc Connor Christiansenās review said he was typing the review as he waited and was waiting for hours. Buffalo Wild Wings opens at 11am according to google. It is now 12:29pm. Review posted 3 hours ago. Indicated the person waited an hour for order, another 30 min, and then another 45 min... and was typing while waiting...Iām terrible at math, but that would mean the person ordered their food approximately 5 hrs and 15 minutes ago. Which is 7:15 am approximately, when they were closed.
Update to 3 Stars: I tried BWW tonight. We got the buffalo chicken wrap with blue cheese instead of ranch, and fries. 30 pc boneless wings (pick up to 6 sauces and we did honey bbq, spicy garlic, Thai curry, smoky adobo, orange chicken, and lemon pepper chicken), the beer cheese and everything pretzels, and a side of Mac & chz.
My boyfriend was a little late so they called to make sure we were coming. Then they called back because a bag of food was forgotten. I appreciated that a whole lot bc we live like 30-40 min away. It was caught early and was very cool. Bf said it was ridiculously busy there.
The beer cheese does not look good, but it was one of the best things of the night. Absolutely delicious. Loved the everything āseasoningā on the pretzels ā which I was unsure about when ordering.
Chicken wrap came without buffalo sauce, so I fed the chicken to my dog, ate some of the fries (tasty), and tossed it. There were some pieces that were just breading.
Mac & Cheese was lacking on cheese, and tasted very noodles. Not much flavor.
Boneless buffalo wings: I am thinking regular wings would taste less artificial than the boneless.
Honey BBQ - tastes a lot like the Fritos Honey BBQ twists. Favorite of the 6 flavors tried tonight.
Spicy Garlic - like buffalo sauce with garlic flavor. Pretty tasty. Almost as good as the honey BBQ.
Thai Curry - I liked it at first, but itās overpowering. Needed diluting. Boyfriend compared it to eating a bullion cube. Saw a review say it was coconutty. Itās not.
Smoky Adobo - Not a fan. Salty. Kinda boring. Lacking something. Would not recommend.
Orange Chicken - not what I remember orange chicken tasting like at all. Even if you took away the kick. It does have some heat to it. Doesnāt remind me of Chinese food at all. Would not recommend.
Lemon Pepper Sauce - Really Really Really bad. Tastes like lemon meringue pie and lobster butter were mixed together and then separated. I love lemon. I will squeeze a whole fresh lemon on food already cooked with lemon. The lemon in this was like huffing a bottle of Lysol. Intense. š
Would order again: pretzels, honey bbq, and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorst experience at a BWW. Medium/low busy Thursday night went in at 7:20 ish. Asked for a beer from the draft list, husband got a margarita and we put in an appetizer order right away. The server had to come back to tell me they didnāt have that beer. Ok no biggy, I chose a different beer. She comes back to tell me they donāt have that one either. Ok no problem, Iāll just take whatever ipa they have on tap. She comes back a Third time not with drinks, but to ask me if sloop juice bomb is okay. (Itās an ipa, so yes I said any ipa ). Another runner comes back with my beer and still no margarita for my husband. Next comes out the Cobb salad I ordered, still no appetizer. Couldnt eat it because there was no silverware, so we had to ask for some and she hands us a pile of silverware, unwrapped, and no napkins. I finish my salad and the app comes to the table ten minutes later. Had to ask for napkins and she brings us about 3. Itās been about 30 minutes and then the wings came. Had to ask for more napkins (duh, wings. ) we ordered them with blue cheese, they came out with ranch. Had to ask again for blue cheese dipping instead. Also we realized we had ordered it with carrots and celery, they didnāt come. Had to ask the server again, can we have our veggies? She comes back with celery but no carrots. Whatever. Husband orders another drink, which doesnāt come out till after Weāve gotten a Togo box and our check. So now weāre ready to go and his drink comes out which he just chugs and then we leave.
Long story short, Iāve never had to ask for so many things that really werenāt complicated. Silverware and napkins should be at the table and apps should come out before entrees. The server was hardly friendly and seemed inexperienced which is fine, everyone has to start somewhere. And I know everywhere is understaffed but Iāve worked in the service industry long enough to know what ābusyā looks like and it was NOT busy. There were other staff members hanging around, laughing together, walking slowly, etc.
An app, 30 wings, a salad, and 3 drinks came to $93 before tip after being there almost an hour on a weekday before games started. Yes we still left a 20% tip. But Do...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is by far the worst BWW location in the Hudson valley. I went there for the first time shortly after they opened and I had an absolutely horrific experience there to the point that I swore that I would never go back. Today my kids wanted to go to Buffalo wild wings for lunch so I caved in and went there. All I can say is that after several months of giving them the chance to work out their kinks, they still are pretty awful. For starters, there were only about seven tables in the entire place when we went in and me and my two sons sat for about 8 minutes before anyone even came up to the table and greeted us. Then my one son's food came out before mine or my other son's, which I was really confused about but his french fries looked like they had been sitting around for hours and they were ice cold. Then about 5 minutes later, my food and my other son's food came out and our french fries looked the same as my other son's. I had ordered a southwestern chicken sandwich which was literally $7 more than a promotional chicken sandwich that they were running, simply for a slice of cheese, some sauce and coleslaw on the sandwich. Which I thought was ridiculous of course, but the waitress recommended it. When I got the sandwich they had put dry, bagged coleslaw mix with no dressing or seasoning on my sandwich. It was an absolute joke. And when the server finally came back at the conclusion of the meal after not checking on us at all I had inquired about it and she said that it was supposed to have coleslaw and not just dry coleslaw mix and I brought it to her attention she said, "sorry about that" and just kept walking. This place is a sad excuse of a restaurant. I can confidently say that now I will never...
