I don’t usually leave reviews but I couldn’t not leave one given my experience there tonight. That last time I came to this chipotle, my partner and I actually walked out. They barely had any protein options and the ice machine had been broken for months. Tonight, I was craving chipotle and to my regret, I gave the Kingston Chipotle another try. Before I even walked in, I saw a sign that said they could only take cash because their card reader was broken. That is ridiculous. It’s 2023. Who carries cash anymore? Whatever. Luckily, my bank is not too far away and I was really craving chipotle so I went out of my way to take cash out. I should’ve taken it as a sign to scrap the dinner idea completely because it just gets worse from here. I return to find there was no chicken, no carne asada, no sofritos, no veggies, no guacamole, or chips!! It was 6:30pm and they said they “ran out”. They said they couldn’t replenish their chicken for another 20 minutes. The customer behind me made a comment that they ran out of everything. The employees just shrugged and said “it’s management” instead of trying to resolve any of the glaring issues. They clearly do not care to work there and I don’t blame them if this is how management is running this establishment. After I’m rung up at the register, they have audacity to tell me they had no change! So I was short changed for my meal that was clearly the farthest thing from fresh I’ve had at a chipotle. Not to mention the ice machine is STILL broken! I will not be returning to this chipotle again. Sad because it’s the only one by my house. I’m thinking about contacting the chipotle headquarters because I believe they would be appalled to find out there is a chipotle franchise that is outputting a sad excuse of “farm fresh” ingredients. Do yourself and your wallet a favor. Skip this...
Read moreMy recent visit to Chipotle Mexican Grill on a Sunday evening left me extremely dissatisfied with the overall dining experience. From the moment I walked in, it was evident that this particular location was severely lacking in cleanliness, food quality, and customer service.
To begin with, the state of the tables and drink fountain area was absolutely unacceptable. They were covered in food debris, sticky residue, and visible stains. It was clear that they hadn't been properly cleaned in quite some time. This lack of basic hygiene made me question the overall cleanliness of the entire establishment.
To make matters worse, the rice I received was shockingly crunchy and undercooked. It felt like I was chewing on uncooked grains, which completely ruined the texture and taste of my meal. It was evident that the kitchen staff had neglected their duties, resulting in an unpleasant dining experience.
Furthermore, the employees seemed disinterested and unmotivated. Instead of actively attending to customers, they were simply standing around, engaged in their own conversations. This lack of attentiveness and professionalism was disheartening, as it reflected a complete disregard for customer satisfaction.
Overall, my visit to Chipotle Mexican Grill on that Sunday evening was a complete disappointment. The dirty tables, crunchy rice, and unengaged employees left me with a negative impression of the establishment. I expected a clean environment, well-prepared food, and attentive service, but unfortunately, none of these expectations were met. I strongly advise potential customers to reconsider visiting this particular Chipotle location, as it fails to meet even the most basic standards of cleanliness, food quality, and...
Read moreWhat happened to the Chipotle in Kingston? Did the owner of this franchise location decide to just let it rot? I'm genuinely curious.... I've been here roughly a dozen times in the past year, each time hoping the operational issues with this location have been resolved, only to find that it has gotten worse. Here's what I've experience recently:
It's filthy every time I walk in... Food particles not wiped off the dining tables, garbage overflowing the trash cans...
They're always out of key ingredients. The Fajita veggies are almost never available. I've even had instances where I couldn't ask for brown rice or pinto beans as the staff was seemingly behind and couldn't cook the food fast enough.
I remember when Chipotle first opened in Kingston. It was like every other Chipotle... A good place to eat, clean, simple, healthy... Now I have a hard time with their staff. It's difficult to explain, but, the sense I get is they all seem confused.
The very last time I walked in there my wife and I were standing in line for roughly 5 minutes. Then, suddenly, an employee walks out with a paper sign that says, "we are out of white rice, steak, and black beans for the remainder of the evening" and tapes it to front counter. .... I have never seen anything like this at any other Chipotle location.
.....I'm actually surprised Chipotle allows this location to operate under their franchise. I'm a huge Chipotle fan and I simply gave up trying to be...
