Starbucks — Restaurant in Town of Ulster

I can't say enough about the crew at this Starbucks location. They are friendly and personable and make you feel so valued as a customer. They know my order when I pull up to the drive-thru in the morning, they always have something nice or encouraging to say--I have even been given stickers with positive affirmations. What really impressed me was that this morning, I accidentally forgot to set my pickup order as 'drive-thru', so I went into the store to grab it, but the crew recognized my name and order, and had it waiting at the window (they ended up running it over to the counter for me), but I thought that was superior customer service, and also kind of nice to know that these baristas actually "see" you! One of my worst Starbucks experience in a while!

Placed an order through the app. Selected the drive pick up option.

The app tells me to just come by the drive-in pickup window. I get there 10 minutes later.

No hello or welcome at the window. No one’s there. After 10 minutes someone shows up to give us our drinks. It’s the wrong order.

He tries to give us a lecture and we realize he hasn’t even started our order yet (order placed 20 minutes ago at this point)

It took him another 10 minutes to prep our drinks, and he got the order wrong (put whip cream where we asked not to, added cinnamon in a drink that didn’t include it, put the wrong amount of pumps, cups half filled, forgot the pastries, etc)

And obviously no goodbye, no thank you, no sorry, nothing.

There are 3 other Starbucks in a 5 mile radius,...

I swear the coffee at this Starbucks is better than any other! My family and my office only order from here because the quality is consistently top-notch. We drive about 20 mins each way just to go to this one. It’s like they sprinkle a little something extra (I think it’s love) in every cup, and my order is always perfect—100% of the time, without fail. I can’t say that about every Starbucks, but this location absolutely stands out....
