Chicken parm is one of my favorite dishes. But this is the worst chicken parm I’ve ever had. It came with a serrated knife, yet it was still hard to cut. My first bite was rubbery and crunchy at the same time. Not a nice crisp crust, more like a fresh crunchy pear. But with rubber. A chewing gum pear texture. It was the weirdest thing I’d ever bitten. The chew felt extremely under cooked but it looked cooked. I cut a second piece from the other side thinking it might have been some gristle and it was the exact same texture. I spit it out, it was so bad. I pushed it to the side and the waiter asked if l'd like it wrapped up. I said no and told him why. I never complain at restaurants but thought he should know. He said he'd let them know. He came back to the table several times after that, yet didn't say a word about the chicken. I thought for sure it would be taken off our bill but it wasn't. I see that one other review mentions rubbery chicken. And a different one mentions spitting hard chicken out. They need to figure out their chicken issues, there is no way this is fresh chicken. I also had a bug in my salad and my husband had a hair in his. We didn’t mention that. We will...
Read moreIf I could put no stars I would ! This place was absolutely not worth $150. There were 5 adults, 2.5yr old & 1yr old. We sat down, waited about 20min for someone to take our drinks n order food since we had enough time to figure it out. We then waited 1.5hrs for just our SALADS! I had to ask another waitress walking by for refills on our drinks cuz ours was no where to be found. Then when i finally found her and asked how long it'll be before our food comes since at this point we had been sitting there 2.5hrs with no dinner. She said they had a big party in the back & we could take our food to go. Which is absolutely NOT what a waitress should suggest to take our food home to eat. I finally said yes just take it to go, she went to the back & 3min later brought out our food in bags wrapped up. How the heck did that take 3min but yet we couldn't get our food for 3hrs!!!! Got home, to finally eat. Chicken parm was so tough had to use a fork & a knife, it was so rubbery. Again, we had 2 children with us as well that had to sit there for 3hrs. Absolutely ridiculous, will NOT be going back. We also should have not even paid for this...
Read moreI hadn't been here since I was a child and had the opportunity to go when we came up for pirates weekend. I was looking forward to experiencing past memories, but like most establishments, post covid left its mark (but it may not be due to covid at all considering it's been 15 years or so since dining here last). The waiter was friendly and did his best. My expectations for eating at an Italian restaurant we're not met, simply put. After sitting for 30 seconds, we were asked for our beverage order. 2 Peronis served without offering glasses, a large hoagie roll with garlic butter, burratta surrounded by what seemed like canned tomatoes, greens and beans had zero broth, and the desserts are from Sysco or US foods. My fish entree was also a sysco or us foods product (I've gotten cases of it before for the assisted living kitchen I ran) with prince Edward veg blend that wasn't steamed properly because the baby carrots were rubbery. The only saving grace was my partners veal spragna with added long hots. I would drive back just for that dish!!!! And the restaurant was clean, but extremely casual versus my memories of the place....
