The Farmhouse at Verona Beach — Restaurant in Town of Verona

From the time we walked through the door, we felt welcomed at The Farmhouse. The Farmhouse is the picture perfect location for exploring the surrounding attractions of Verona Beach. Located within walking distance to the beach/arcades/restaurants/bars and casino makes this the perfect home base. The Farmhouse is suitable for families, large groups or a romantic couples retreat. The entire experience was wonderful, from the farm fresh breakfast to the attentive personal service, to the comfortable accommodations. The quality of the food, service, ambiance, cleanliness are all above and beyond. The decor is a stunning mix of vintage country with modern amenities in a quaint setting. The menu in the cafe offers a wide variety of delicious and mouthwatering dishes that will appeal to both children and adults (try the sweet cream and strawberry stuffed pancakes, I can still taste them). Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. The chef uses farm fresh local ingredients in the dishes that are simply scrumptious. He came around to check on our satisfaction and was genuinely engaged. I have gone to similar places, but this one really stands out. The attention to detail and devotion to guest service distinguishes it from the competition. Overall, staying at the Farmhouse was a pleasure from beginning to end. The wonderful food, attentive service, and warm atmosphere created a memorable experience. My experience at this Bed and Breakfast was nothing short of outstanding. Place was dead at noon on a Sunday. Should've been a red flag. Menu is limited and confusing. I ordered a Reuben which was OK. Came wrapped in wax paper for dine in which was strange and bottom slice of bread was basically liquefied. Potato salad comes in a tiny ramican cup it quite possibly is only one small red potato diced and lightly coated with watery mayonnaise...no seasoning no nothing...smallest portion I've ever seen. Ordered an orange juice. It came out in a clear solo cup full of ice from top to bottom so basically a shotglass worth of orange juice. Who puts ice in an orange juice...? It was 50 degrees outside.... I ordered coffee and never got asked for a refill on either including the other 3 people at the table. I had to go get my own napkins from a wicker basket. Table was wobbly and my coffee spilled slightly. Server came by just before i went searching for napkins and didnt even offer or notice my coffee was spilled...The others i came with struggled with the menu as well. My brother ordered eggs over easy and they were raw. Table was greasy to the point you could write on it with your fingers. Server never came by after the food was ordered, she didn't even bring us our food and received silverware after food arrived. Server didn't even clear table. Some other woman did and apologized for the lack of service....Very strange place. No bill at table either you have to go find the cashier and they didn't show me the bill when I cashed out....never going back and going out of my way to recommend...

I made a wk ahead of time, reservations for 8, for 8/16/25 @ 10am. My church party arrived and asked where was the reserved table under Bernadette Curry name. The stated it will be ready in 10 minutes. My party outside elderly ladies in the sun, we came in and se In awaiting area, we were ignored. I asked how much longer, they said we need to clean table. Finally I said let's sit, the table was still not ready not clean. I went up asked for mrnus and a rag, I would clean it. No one came back. An hour wait, I was so embarrassed. It was my church group from st Peter's church. We fo mant fund risers. I went 3 other times bringing new people becase one tome I enjoyed this restaurant. We were ignored so many times, i was so unhappy, that they would treat, older people like they didn't exist. Shame on you busy or not people should not be ignored. So sad you treated my lovely church group, not...
