Since being under new ownership, we have never been disappointed! Our first visit we had to wait a bit but was understandable as they were just opening for the season. It was worth the wait! I enjoyed the lobster bisque and lobster roll for our first visit and oh my gosh; SO GOOD! Hubby and son got a burger and a wrap and were also very pleased. Third visit we decided to bring our adult autistic son, he can be picky so we were skeptical. Atmosphere was not an issue for him and the hostess was very accommodating. Bacon habanero burger….huge thumbs up from him and perfected with orange fountain soda. He asked to go back again. So far everything we have tried has been great. There are so many new items and some of the classics. Pricing is very fair and on point but a bit lower than some of the other favorites in the beach. I only have 1 food picture, lobster bisque, crab stuffed scallop (special), fried cheese curd, boom boom shrimp. Will be a family favorite this season for sure!

The restaurant opened about 2 weeks ago under new ownership so we were excited to give it a try and we weren't disappointed. Everyone in our party of four enjoyed their meals and the new menu includes something for everyone, from appetizers, to salads, sandwiches, and full dinners. The lobster seafood roll was the outstanding item. It was huge and delicious for a good price.($16.99, included fries) The bar drinks came quickly, while coffee and everything from the kitchen was a little slower, but we were in no hurry. Our waitress was only on her 6th day there, but was knowledgeable and honest in trying to help us with our menu choices. The music was a little loud for the early hour of about 6pm, but we were still able to have a conversation at our table. The outdoor patio is newly refurbished and looks wonderful, although we ate inside. We're looking forward to spending more time at 'The Clam' and wish all the best to the new owners. Give them a try!

We love The Crazy Clam and go multiple times per summer. The Cuban and Chicken Riggies are absolutely amazing! Our food came out hot and very quick. The waitresses are all very friendly and knowledgeable on their menu. The bartender can make a great mixed drink but I always go for the Southern Tier IPA's. The Crazy Clam is always very clean both in the restaurant and in the outside seating area as well as the bathrooms. We enjoy the outdoor seating just as much as inside. There's really no bad spot to sit. Plus it's right next to the canal where you'll see boats slowly drive by every few minutes. Last but not least, if you go for dinner be sure to stay for the sunset. They are absolutely amazing!

Haven't been to The Clam is a couple years. But every time I'm in town (originally from the area) I am sure to have dinner there. Went there last night (all-be-it a slow Monday night, it was a gorgeous summer evening). There were 5 people in our outdoor party. All 5 of our meals were different and all 5 were far below expectations. One meal was completely dropped and not put-in whatsoever. She hardly recognized that my husband was served his meal (a salad) once we were all finished eating. My 13 year old son will eat anything! But neglected to finish his rack of ribs....said they were gross. The service was poor, at best. It's as if she'd go inside and disappear. Not to return for far too long. We weren't the only outdoor guests, so I'm sure they were all suffering as well. The check was FINALLY delivered, only to find items on there that we never ordered or consumed. She was upset that we requested a corrected accurate guest check.....which also took 15 minutes! The corrections were reluctantly made, and our bill was considerably less. Will not be taking the family there to eat again. ...
