Bubbakoo's Burritos — Restaurant in Town of Wallkill

I am not sure what happened to some who wrote poor reviews, but the food from this place is fantastic. I mean, there are plenty of parking spots, but more importantly the food quality is really quite good. I had the hibachi steak burrito bowl and the parts were fresh, cooked perfectly, great sauces (the spicy) and seasonings were great. I was more than pleasantly surprised as it's not often franchise Mexican cuisine restaurants have it all together. This store by far is really about the best Mexican food I've had in the Middletown area. And it makes you wonder why there are not more and better Mexican restaurants locally. Anyway, I ordered online with a 90 minute ahead ready time. Got there on time, it was ready, the folks behind the counter were efficient, knew my order seemed to be really good with other live customers. The place was super clean, love the ease in which you can see the menu and the greens color are a nice contrast. But the real highlight was the meal. Fresh, terrific tasting - at least the burrito bowl I got plus the chips and their spicy salsa is must. At least for a first time visit, a 5 all the way around and dont pay attention to the poor reviews. Just either fake or typical thoughtless social media folks. Go here - you will...

I’ve never been to a Bubbakoo’s before, so since I drive by this new one everyday that just opened in Middletown, I figured let me give it a try since I love Mexican food.

I kept it simple and ordered a beef burrito and three beef tacos.

The beef tacos were great. Pleasantly surprised how good they were. As for the burrito, not the best burrito I’ve ever had and definitely, not the worst. But it was good.

The best thing about this place is what you get for your money. The burrito was very large, and it was $10 and change. The 3 tacos were also $10 and change. After I ate the burrito, and one taco, I was stuffed. No way could I eat the other two tacos. I’m a thin guy but still, you get a lot for your money here. And one other great thing is that you get to choose what filling you want for both the tacos, and burrito at no extra charge. If you want extra meat, or to combine meats that might cost more but I’m not sure. They are super generous with whatever portions you choose though.

Bubbakoos is a great alternative to something like McDonald’s, or Wendy’s. Much healthier food and a lot less expensive for what you get. I will definitely be going back and can’t wait to try out some of the...

This review is in hopes things improve: I’ve ordered from here 4 times and the food is amazing each time! However, 2/4 my order has been messed up. Not a huge deal, things happen. Today while picking up my order the lady at the registered asked about the “sauce” i wanted on the side. Quickly jumped to correcting me and staying I only indicated I wanted the “sauce” on the side not the “queso blanco”, which she didnt know what queso was until I told her in English (terrible). She walked away as I was letting her know I didnt need to order to be made again and went to speak to a gentleman I believe is a manager. She again tells me while handling my order next time to be more specific (in a condescending tone). This employee can use more training in customer interaction especially becoming more knowledgeable in knowing the basics of the menu such as “queso blanco” is melted white cheese while also acknowledging that this sauce, along with chipotle & red house SALSA are all under the sauce section on the menu.
