I had the worst store experience of all time at this GameStop. The employee at this store only made 1 out of 6 transactions mostly cause of his incompetence.
Hereās the issue. This man comes in with the dirtiest Xbox on planet earth. Youād think they make yellow Xboxās by how yellow this Series S was. Heās taking in the controllers and taking forever to test them while the customer line is piling up. Meanwhile, none of these controllers heās testing work. Then the customer with the yellow Xbox says something like PS5 being better and starts debating with the cashier how itās better. All while customers are getting impatient. Finally he does one transaction with a customer. Itās for a PSA PokĆ©mon cards. He couldnāt do it because he didnāt have the hard shell case. So the cashier goes back to the man with the yellow Xbox and the man is like no I donāt wanna trade this right now, and then the cashier takes out a portable vacuum and shows him how to clean his Xbox. Another customer then leaves the line. Then these guys go back into PS5 VS Xbox. Iāve been here 15 mins now and even the manās girlfriend is signaling him to wrap it up. Finally they finish talking and nothing even happened, no trade in, nothing. Then the cashier says thank you for waiting, āOh! Where is everyone? Did people leave? Sorry about that I get wrapped up in my own world so easily!ā I finally got my item. But only one transaction was made in 30 mins because of how slow...

Once I get there the josh the store manager sarcastically tells me that what coincidence that Iām there 2 days before my warranty runs out. As if Iām planning on doing something sketchy. I ignored it because I been here before and this store manager is usually just rude. I then ask if it was possible to transfer my PokĆ©mon save data/ animal crossing save data in the store. He tells me āno the wifi is bad and will take forever dudeā. I immediately felt like this person didnāt want to do his job. I call another GameStop in and told them exactly what I was told and itās almost as if they knew the guy and told me nah just didnāt want to do his job. I always kind of just assume they know a lot about games since they work at gamestop and it is useful that they usually actually do. I give a 5 star review for the employees, minus two stars because this corporation notoriously treated its employees badly nationwide during covid-19. Maybe next time you should value them more.
