Precision Barber Shop — Local services in Town of Wallkill

I was looking for a barbershop and came across this one. At the time, the owner told me he was fully booked, but another barber was available for walk ins. At first I was nervous and skeptical about trying a walk in, but I decided to give it a shot, especially since the shop has a 4.7 star rating. When I got there, I met a young barber and asked for a specific haircut. Unfortunately, he made a few errors, such as uneven lines both on the top and back of my head. On top of that, he used a razor without any shaving cream or even a hot towel, which I found very unprofessional. Afterward, he didn’t apply any aftershave or alcohol to sanitize, which made me worry about whether the blade was properly cleaned or reused. I couldn’t help but wonder how a barber could work without basic tools and practices. The owner was respectful and apologized for the situation. He mentioned he couldn’t personally take me as he had other clients waiting, which was understandable, and he offered me a discount. However, I believe the owner should have provided the necessary tools and guidance to the barber since it’s ultimately his reputation on the line.

First & for most Elbee/Anthony is a complex individual, a few months ago I had a morning appointment i waited for about 2 hours before messaging him if he’s going to be opening that day; he said he forgot and is on the way 30 mins after the text he arrives and apologizes saying he forgot. I gave him the benefit of the doubt because we are all human and forget things; this month I schedule an appointment and had a family emergency and lost track of time and schedules, Elbee/Anthony texts me being rude and sarcastic & blocks my number so I wasnt able to tell him what was going on; i went to this guy two years ago and he had asked for my phone to google his shop to see how many stars he has (i thought at the time that it was harmless) then he proceeded to write himself a 5-star review on my phone and seeing from past reviews he’s done it multiple times, he butchers his creditability so when you google barbershops in middletown he pops up first definitely a rude individual who thinks he’s above everyone else Update : he’s saying i never been here but i have its been years now; I got a notification about his comment, i went to the location on north street and i have receipts/ messages of him i can pull...

I’ve been coming here for a while, and at first, Anthony always delivered top-notch haircuts. He’s skilled, efficient, and paid great attention to detail, which kept me coming back.

However, after several months, my experience changed. I had to cancel an appointment through Booksy about 90 minutes before arrival due to a family emergency, and shortly after, he began sending me multiple texts questioning me in a way that felt excessive and unprofessional. What made this worse is that I often showed up to appointments on time, only to wait 15–20 minutes because he was still finishing with someone else.

I originally overlooked the negative reviews to give him the benefit of the doubt, but after 7–8 months of consistent issues, I see those concerns were valid.
