Dream Donuts — Restaurant in Town of Warwick

The honest reviewer here:) So I drove up to Warwick around 48 minutes to try this donut stop only to wait 37 minutes to an extremely quiet shop. Small. 3 workers. One girl looked like she just got out of the salon and was in no mood to be at work. I could barely hear her when she asked for my order. Extremely depressing. Extremely disappointing. 2 kids working. Who looked like they want nothing to do with the place moving 2 miles an hour. I see no manager or owner helping pick up the pace. So honestly I won’t be back. A little music or excitement … would have been nice… If your going to drive far like me I would suggest you go to your local farm For cider donuts . I expected a lot better for a cute idea, which was just really not worth it at all unfortunately. And the donuts were just ok not very sweet. Chewy. (Below the owners response, uses “Covid” excuse for the 2 mile an hour workers leaving a 45 minute line out the door.) what has happened to this country. And social anxieties?????? What the heck… what owner writes that lol for sure never...

I like the concept of this place-mini donuts that mostly have typical fun flavors like you find at other full sized gourmet donut shops. You can also get an order of fresh hot donuts which I didn’t buy so I can’t rate those. I expected the ice cream to be something different than Good Humor and Dippin’ Dots. Drink were in a cooler across from the cash register. The girl working was pleasant enough. My favorite flavors were s’mores, Nutella, and cookies and cream. The donuts themselves were cute, bite sized and very springy cake donuts. I’d say the actual donuts were okay in taste. I’ve had more flavorful ones. These would be good as a party snack or need something as a small dessert for a gathering especially for kids. I bought them as a treat for our family since we were visiting my mother in law at St. Anthony’s Hospital nearby. They must’ve been good enough, because a small pizza box full got eaten. So many thoughts. Mine had obviously been sitting too long. I did not like them at all. Photos are deceiving. I was expecting regular donuts, my mistake. I couldn't tell from the photos that they were mini. When I asked if they had regular donuts too they acted like I had two heads. The photos need a reference object to the size. They are the size of a quarter. And too expensive for what you get. We were visiting from out of state. Never saw such a thing. I read in a review response that you think everyone likes them and that's why you have been in business for so long. I'm not one who likes them. I'm truly happy for family businesses. This one just...
