I have been there three times. Love the concept, and the food is all home made, fresh and delicious. The menue was great for breakfast but I thought should have offered a few more options for lunch . ( atleast three Speciality sandwiches as opposed to just the one) ... The only problem I see here is the seating. The seating set up is horrible and not accommodating. The couch though nice if the place was more spacious should be removed to accommodate another table or two.( depending on how they rearrange the entire center seating , and that needs to be done) The butcher block island as you walk in and huge wooden square table off to the right take up too much room and don't allow the tables to be set up for a nice flow. Each time I went with a few friends we almost left because of seating issues, the last time we had to leave, there was just wasn't anywhere to sit except that huge table with backless stools which neither of us could sit on.
This place could be great and around forever, but won't last too long if people have to wait around for seating or can't wait and leave like we had to do. I hope they fix this problem because it really is a nice little place with food that was cooked, baked, a presented with thought and care ...I love that ! Wish them much luck and a way to rearrange the seating to accommodate what could easily be( Because of the quality ) a growing number...
Read moreThis is one of my favorite go-to spots in Warwick and likely always will be. It's where I take a friend to eat well and spend time in a warm environment. The food is amazing. The prices are typical. The complaints about pricing and wait times make me think that some are not aware of the common pricing structure in this area or especially with a farm-to-table sourced menu. It is expensive-ish, but I save this as a treat and it's what you pay for a quality product. As for wait time, I've never noticed a wait only because, thankfully, this is a place where you can go to sit and take your time and talk and breathe. Slow down and invest in a conversation and know that a good meal awaits. If you want fast, go somewhere that makes fast food. I realize it's not convenient for everyone and sometimes you're in a hurry. (Incidentally, there is another establishment in Warwick that is very slow and a bit pricey and also totally worth the wait.) I go in knowing it will take some time, and then I enjoy what comes from a home-made, handcrafted coffee or meal. I don't go when I know I don't have room in the schedule for it. This may not be for everyone, but I will still take my best friends here and continue to feel satiated in the food and investment of time it...
Read moreI went last year and loved the food, so I was excited to go there again. When we walked in, we stood there for over 5 minutes, with multiple employees standing behind the counter and making eye contact with us before anyone came to seat us. We waited over 45 minutes for an order of eggs, pancakes, and an omelette. There were people who came in after us who were seated and served well before us. We were brought coffee and that's where our service ended. We sat outside for 40 minutes without anyone checking on us. I had to go in to see where our food was. Was told it was very busy (there's 5 tables and it had been over half an hour at that point. 3 tables were people seated after us) it will be right out. We waited another 10 minutes. I was given attitude when I went in to pay for the coffee. We got overcharged for that. Nothing was offered to compensate for the wait and our food wasn't even near ready, despite it being close to an hour since we ordered. Neither of our party today have ever been so dissatisfied with service in our life. When we heard another table complaining about the wait time we should have just left. It was a waste of time...
