Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Town of Watertown

Went here for a quick lunch this afternoon , We ordered out door I got the 2 piece spicy meal and my boyfriend got the 6 piece wing meal , My food was ok but when he bit into his chicken it had more then usual pinkish color , I took it back to the counter and asked if it was cooked all the way and the cashier had a huge attitude , We not a different order of wings , when we went to sit down there was maybe 3 clean tables out of the decent amount that they have , while trying to enjoy our meal I overheard the cashier who was snobby make fun of a poor gentleman telling him he talks funny all because he asked for some honey packets and she thought he asked for ice packets , the guy even asked if they were making fun of the way he talks , after a few moments went by the same cashier took out a drive thru order and while she was out side she stood right by the door and took her vape out and hit it a few time , she then proceeds to go back into the kitchen and not wash her hands but proceeds to fix other people’s food orders and she repeated this process 2 or 3 times , in disgust I threw my food away and left , It was not a clean or welcoming environment , I feel for the people who had to deal with her today , I looked all around and did not see a manger or anything during all of this , I don’t think me or any of my family will be back this was about...

We placed our order for a 16pc box meal and 8pc nugget combo, and asked for our sides of mashed potatoes to have the gravy on the side. We waited 20 minutes for our food with numerous other customers also unhappy with the wait. During our wait an employee with tattoos all over and a blue hoodie on emptied the trash and then touched food containers. Numerous employees came in smelling of marijuana so bad that the whole counter area reeked of it. Other customers also commented about the smell. My teen daughter came in to tell us that her, my young son and grandmother were watching 3 employees smoking marijuana outside. The employee Tessa was so disoriented that I loudly said “ma’am” repeatedly and she was either to high to do anything but laugh and swear or she just blatantly ignored me (even after another employee tried to get her attention) We got home to have one mashed potato with gravy on it and one correct, no Cajun fries, warm coleslaw and one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in any restaurant. The only positive to our visit was the employee Genesis, she seemed to be trying to do everyone else’s job too, was very polite, and was trying to direct the others to actually work. We will not...

When they first opened we visited here, and the drive thru order taker only answered with “hello?” We said hi, and again she said “hello? What do you want?”. First day being open, I assumed they were just getting trained and have never taken orders before? Maybe? The food was pretty good.

Visited again today for eat in, and was told there would be a 15 minute wait when there weren’t too many people inside and only 2-3 cars in drive thru. There was a couple of people waiting before us sitting already. It took 25 minutes for our food, and the people before us hadn’t gotten anything yet. They were assured minutes before that their food was fresh and coming soon. We sat and ate for another 15ish minutes, AND THOSE PEOPLE STILL DIDN’T HAVE THEIR FOOD AS WE WERE LEAVING. 40+ minutes of waiting on their end and I was getting upset for them 🥺 the food was sub-par as well today.
