I like Homegoods. I like the varied selection, discovering things you can't find other places. I was there Christmas Eve late in the afternoon. I noticed two of the employees wearing double masks and I asked one young lady why. She said people were coming in the store without masks on so the staff double masked trying to stay safe. How frustrating, how arrogant of those customers. There seems to be 2 kinds of people in the world, those who are taken covid seriously and those who are not. It's the people that are refusing to wear masks that are causing this pandemic to continue. But worse yet causing people to be sick and in too many instances hospitalized and worse, dying. The people that are refusing to be responsible should be refused service. And I am not for government interference but I think the government needs to take a more active stance in stopping ignorant, irresponsible people from making other...
Read moreWas just here and a customer came in right behind me without a mask. Not one staff said a word to him. We rang out at the same time still no one said anything. I called and asked what their policy was and they said everyone is required to wear a mask. I asked why the gentleman was allowed to walk around with out a mask and was told I needed to say some thing to a staff member so they could get a manger bc they are not allowed to tell customers to put a mask on. I don’t really understand why in the world it’s my responsibility to say something when it’s their policy, they work there. Why can’t THEY get their manager, they can see just like I can who has a mask and who doesn’t. I literally saw several staff look right at him. There is a staff person wiping carts literally greeting everyone as they walk in the door. THEY should let a manger know. Not me. A lot of older ppl shop...
Read moreI absolutely love homegoods, but today's experience was a bit disappointing. The floor staff in this location wasn't very helpful, nor polite. The store is extremely crowded with merchandise and customers. A staff member walked into me with no apology, another stocking shelves pushed cart directly across my path again with no apology. I no longer wanted to be in the store, so I stopped browsing, went to cash out. The front end staff rushed me and bagged my stuff clumsily...both bags split and was put in the same sized bag...at this point I was ready to get out of there. I won't shop there again. Hopefully I won't have to start shopping in a competitor's store, as there isn't many locations in my neck...
