Bareburger — Restaurant in Town of Woodbury

Really expensive burgers. Mine was literally $25, and that didn’t even include fries!

Yes, it had two burger patties, but so does five guys or Bgood (there it’s $2.50 extra for another patty, and it’s a locally sourced and largely organic burger joint in MA. Nowhere near $25 a burger).

The Elk burger itself was $22ish with tax ($18 before tax). And that’s not just because I got elk. Normal burgers are pricy too. My request to add avocado (4 small slices) was $3.

The burger was good. I was glad I got to try elk. That’s fun. I had bison in South Dokota but this is a unique place for sure! It just was more expensive than I could stomach.

My last bite of the burger I chipped a tooth too (no idea why. The burger didn’t feel like it had hard bits). So it was an extra unpleasant end to an already expensive meal.

Also, Woodbury Commons at 3pm on a Monday was like coming during a school break: kids and noise everywhere.

The whole experience was surprisely loud, busy, and expensive.

Naked as a burger!

We were shopping late in Woodbury commons and to our surprise Bareburger was still open at 930pm.  And I was shocked to find a vegan burger.  I ordered also the shrimp salad for my wife.  The burger was tiny with no fries but still good.  My wife salad looked really good.  The restaurant is in their food center.  They also have a bar but closes early.   I would have given this a 5 star review but due to the insects or mosquitoes biting me under the table I didnt. I had welts on my leg for 5 days.  But price is also high for a small burger but it's expected from this location.  Overall good.  The waiter was also nice and funny.  He made a fat joke at me but I don't think he meant anything malicious.

Highly recommended! Visit and tell them Mick (ig: The_freakin_vegan) sent you! You will not be disappointed

Came here to eat dinner with my wife and a couple of friends. We opted to do dine-in which I regret.

The food is honestly mediocre and the waiting service was not good all. The staff was pleasant when we first arrived but the food service was very slow and sloppy. They added an extra patty to my wife’s order (which she didn’t want) and they charged us for it but that’s even wasn’t the worse part.

The main reason for giving Bareburger a low rating is because we requested water four times before getting water…. when we first placed our order, again when we got our food, again after waiting for 10 mins, and a forth time when I walked up to staff who were socializing behind the bar. How does that happen? Serving water should be automatic.

I was also shocked when the bill included an automatic 20% gratuity! Obviously there is no incentive to provide customers with quality service when you know you’re automatically...
