Let me start off with this, I donât normally write reviews for anything, positive or negative, but this was one of the worst excperiences ive ever had at any sort of business. It was horrible start to finish. Bad service, bad food, bad everything.
First off, donât go here if you only have a half hour lunch. Me and a coworker went here on our lunch and waited alone on line for close to 10 minutes for someone to take our order. I ordered a hamburger and he ordered hot dogs (which was the specials) and stood waiting for almost an hour for it. In the time we weâre waiting for our food, a lunch rush of construction workers came and ordered the specials as well. After about a half hour of waiting, they were severed their food before us, as others continued to come up and order the specials also. Some got their food fast, while others were stuck waiting.
When my burger finally came out, it had cheese on it (it was flipped to the bottom so im just speculating that they knew they had messed up my order and tried to hide it). I politely told the girl who took my my order I cannot eat cheese and just desperately tried to find something else on the menu I could get fast. when I couldnât find anything, I asked for my money back.
Then the cook came out of the back. I can only discribe him as an irate elderly man. He caught an attitude right of the bat with me, telling Iâll have to wait because I ârefusedâ my order (yes I did. Because what I wasnât given wasnât what I ordered.) and continued to tell me anything I order is going to take time to make because there are other orders before me. Which I understand but there is nothing on the menu that should take him More then 10 minutes to make. I tried to explain to him that I was there before all these people and heâs been serving others before me and he gave me a âyou're outâ hand gesture which I guess was on theme, but not very good customer service.
After that interaction, my co workers hot dogs came out and we left as soon as we could (but not to fast because theyâve forgot to give him his soda). He couldnât even finish one of the hot dogs. He said it wasnât warm all the way though and he found a small body hair on his plate. So in the end neither of us got lunch, and we were both a half hour late getting back to work.
I work right down the road from this place, and had high hopes for a new place to go for my lunch. Even if the food wasnât great, I would have went here weekly. But now Iâll never go back here, and I will be sure to tell my friends.

Brighter and better than ever! With the newly done parking lot, new tables, and chairs! They have plenty of seating with some under the trees or close to the road.
We've driven past this place for over a decade and loved it for a long time before it closed. Once we heard it REOPENED, we immediately made a day out of it with our dog! They are a CASH-ONLY spot, so please bring cash before you go.
Along with new flavors, the staff is very nice and welcoming. Taking in the menu we didn't want to keep them waiting with the windows open so we ordered basic flavors including our pup-cup đž
My boyfriend got the DeepSea Treasure (which I regret not getting!) And I got a Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (which I'm not a fan of). The pup-cup had treats in it and my dog loved it! Thank you!
We asked the employees about how they were able to reopen and they mentioned how it's under new owner(s) but same management which made us excited. It's because of that that they kept the old feel of a classic ice cream spot! Thank you for keeping it the same!
All new parking spots and even blacktop were added, they made handicapped spots and seating for your convenience. Glad to have an iconic spot back!...

Iâm sorry that your experience didnât go as well as you planned but it mustâve been very busy and our kitchen is only so big so we try to accommodate everyoneâs requests under the circumstances. If the order was messed up we do apologize for that but there is no reason to have an attitude to the people that were trying to get it out as fast as possible. If youâre unhappy with the service then you have plenty of other restaurant options. Many locals and customers from the commons come for our low prices and great food so if we only lose you as a customer i think weâll still be...
