Wendy's — Restaurant in Town of Woodbury

This is a nice Wendy's location, usually fast and friendly service, and hot food at decent prices. The owner of this location is actually concerned about return customers and does a really great job dealing with customer complaints and tackling issues head on instead of denial or other regrettable avenues, he's a good guy. I had an issue at this location about a year or so ago, (food was incorrect at the drive thru near closing time, and was closed before I could let them know) so I let the store know via phone, and the following night I received a call from the owner. It wasn't a big deal, mistakes happen, but he actually took the time to call and talk to me about the issue and gave me a free meal for the inconvenience. My only issue with the store is when using the drive thru, they hand you your drinks without straws while you wait for your food. It seems this Wendy's has progressively gotten worse over the last 6 months. The staff is less than friendly, many seemingly annoyed to be working. This past weekend (Saturday, around 1:00 PM) I placed an order using the Wendy's app. I submitted my order about 10 minutes before arriving at the store. I went in to pick up my order and still had to wait another 10-15 minutes. I was given my order, which I double checked, and found 2 items were missing. Got the missing items and left. Returned to my car and started my trip. The fries were under-cooked, like they were removed from the fryer before they were done. I opened one of my cheeseburgers, only to find there was no burger!! Just a piece of cheese and an onion. Not sure how you missing putting a burger on a cheeseburger.

This Wendy's location is not one of their best efforts. Not only is the service here slow, compared to other locations, but the orders on the drive-thru are incorrect frequently. The staff is okay, they arent the most friendly. The reason I give two stars is because the service is poor and the location is not as good as nearby Wendy's locations or even other fast food locations at the very least. I'd recommend a complete overhaul of this location, not just of the staff, but also the way the restaurant is setup. It feels as if the space it occupies cannot keep up with the demand for meals, especially at lunch or dinner time. The drive-thru is extremely small and the parking lot cannot hold all the customers that would like to go through.
