Desi Taste of India — Restaurant in Tracy

Tried this Indian food truck yesterday and had a great experience! The samosa chaat was outstanding—served hot with excellent chutneys that balanced flavors perfectly. The vada pav, however, was a bit on the colder side, which was a bit off for me as a Mumbaikar, but it was still decent. The samosas were excellent on their own!

The highlight was the hospitality—the truck owner/guy was very humble and even offered us tea, which was absolutely refreshing. Overall, a great spot for Indian street food, and I’d definitely come back for the samosa...

Ordered togo vegetarian dinner, Nutri Kulcha is soya curry (less gravy) with masala naan (looks like costco plain naan) with onion, tasted good and different. Malai Paneer is a bit tangy, not malai or creamy type, tasted good. The food truck is located after the Chevron signal, beside the next signal. They gave me a complementary chai, which was exceptional in taste. Would come back to explore more vegetarian option. I usually don’t like to eat from food trucks but with a 5.0 review, I figured I would give it a try. I have some friends that cook Pav Bhaji from scratch for me as I watch whenever I visit them and it is the most delicious Indian meal I have ever tasted! I was craving it so I went to Desi Taste of India and they did not disappoint. I scarfed it down so fast and went back the next day and got another.
