Last night my boyfriend and I decided to try this place per first time. The ambience was cozy and whoever decorated this place has such a good taste. The reason why I’m giving them only 1 star is because the SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE!
We sat at the bar, there were 3 people behind the bar (3 girls serving) and none of them acknowledged us for about 5 minutes we thought maybe they’re behind on orders or something because the place wasn’t that busy.
When we finally got the bartender’s attention we order our drinks and an appetizer, after a minute a lady come and told us that they couldn’t make our appetizer because they run out of the ingredients, she asked if we wanted something else but didn’t wait for us to give our food order. Then another 5 minutes passed and the bartender didn’t even served our drinks, another server came behind the bar and offer us drinks again,. We told her that she already got us and when she finally talked to us we told her we wanted to order a salad and she said that their kitchen was closed.
At this point I was already frustrated for being ignored, We couldn’t wait any longer and we just got up and left.
We went to “The Purgatory” a new spot in downtown Tracy and ended up having a great time, great food and excellent drinks, the kitchen excelled at satisfying our cravings and their...
Read moreI really like the atmosphere here, it's a somewhat upscale but still very approachable place. I went there for brunch for the first time and was kind of confused on what to do. We waited quite a while before someone got our orders and even longer before we got our food. I got a bacon panini that ended being mostly egg and very little bacon. The presentation of the food is nice and the flavor is good too but I feel like I was cheated of bacon 🤣. The service is kind of slow and if you want to be served faster, you may have to get up or get a waitress's attention. The bottomless mimosas are bomb though. It's a good place to go for a nice relaxed brunch at a...
Read moreLived in Tracy since 78 first time downtown in years and to our surprise got some great new restaurants and places to have some libations. We are going to go eat at another restaurant and decide to stop in and have a glass of wine at The Press Wine Bar. My wife and I we're glad we did the service was great from Sunny the owner to all the other staff that waited on us and a fantastic Charcuterie plate and wine. You can't beat the outdoor seating and ambiance with the live music definitely will come back here and make it one of our favorite places. Oh and they brought us the deconstructed bread pudding with fantastic at night...
