Hosted an impromptu bday party here. Parking is an absolute confused mess but it was a great time. It was our first time and we were frenzied coming in as to where to place things and where paint/sink/bowls etc were to be placed or were located. I did reserve it as a bday party, bowls and plates were provided but that was for the painting project, not cake and ice cream, although we brought our own it did add to the confusion, we were not told the bowls and plates were for supplies (maybe should have been obvious but we have NEVER been to anything like this), we happened to invite someone who had been there before and showed us the ropes. We were midway into our project and was told about the sinks and rinsing the bowls. It was a learn as you go for us and it added to the chaos. But ... We had a great time over all. I feel our hostess was overwhelmed as well and there was a bit of tension. But things went smoothly. It is a great place to go and let your creative side shine...even if it's...
Read moreI have been here 3 times with family and friends. The concept of this experience is a wonderful one; creating an art piece to commemorate a special memory with people that you love. The studio is bright & cheerful, clean, organized, quiet and comfortable. But all 3 times I have come, the lady with dark hair who was in charge....was not friendly or welcoming. She was "aloof" and a bit "snooty" with us while giving instructions. She never smiled and in general....had terrible "customer service" skills. I'm in my 70's & have a long career in the arts, event planning, fundraising and currently retail. So I know what I'm talking about when I say that "customer service" and a "welcoming attitude" are of utmost importance when running any business. I continue to return for this experience because of the wonderful studio and concept....but the employee who was in charge each time I visited, left much to...
Read moreThis was fun, and there were a lot of painting options. Plan a few hours or more if you are painting a large item or you are meticulous. The only thing that I was not very happy with was that there were a number of little kids running around with paint on their hands and unsupervised. One got paint on my new jacket. The owner said that the paint was washable, but when I got home to wash it, the instructions on the coat said "dry clean only". So now I have to pay to have it dry cleaned. It would be nice if they had "adult only" painting times separate from kids. The painting was also a bit expensive. $120 for two items. One item was about 3X2 inches, and the other was a jar about 8X6 inches. It did cost $20 to have them shipped, so that was included. We have not received our items yet. We were told 7-14 days. It will be 14 days tomorrow, so hopefully, they are...
