Traverse City Tourism — Attraction in Traverse City

WARNING WARNING WARNING to TC residents and tourists!! Apparently there is no overnight parking on city streets or public parking lots downtown Traverse City. There are NO signs downtown that state this; however, according to the police officer the signs are posted as you are entering TC (mind you I have never seen these signs and lived here 16 yrs). Brickyard Towing charges $130 to free your vehicle from their impound yard. There were several TC residents there to free their vehicles when we were there that have NEVER seen these signs either or heard of people being towed because of this. I do not blame Brickyard Towing, but I will say the gentlemen that was there today was very rude and unfriendly. I will NEVER recommend anyone to use them. PLEASE SHARE THIS MESSAGE SO THAT OTHERS WILL NOT BE HURT FINANCIALLY because of TC's inability to post signs downtown where people would actually be able...

We were visiting TC for the airshow and cherry festival. We were baking in the sun and realized we had forgotten our sunscreen. We didn’t see any convenience stores or gas stations nearby so we stopped in here to see if they knew of a place.
