I'll start off by saying the good, I got the half pound burger, not the best burger I've ever had but I was happy with it, and our waitress for the most part was very friendly. The bad, my fiance ordered the biscuits and gravy with american fries, first her order was placed in the window along with the order before us and we were told that they are not allowed to serve any of the food til all the food for the table is ready, so her food sat up there for awhile, that when it did finally come it was cold, the american fries are not american fries, they simply boil a potato and mash it into some pieces, we were told that's how they come because the elderly people that eat there like them like that and we needed to specificy that we want normal american fries when we go out to eat (but they did take them off the bill) only other complaint would be that the biscuits and gravy was just one little tiny biscuit with some gravy drizzled around it for almost 8 bucks, definitely was not worth the money. Half of the experience was good, if I had just gone there by myself and ordered my burger I would have had no complaints, but the job they did with my fiancé's meal was...

Went here last year and it was absolutely great. Went this morning with my family and before we even sat our waitress was already rude. Was very short and unfriendly. Never introduced herself. When asked for recommendations had nothing else to say other than …I like it. Took almost an hour to get food after coffee and even the table next to us asked about their food and ours to the waitress. As soon as the waitress went to talk to the cook around the corner we had food in a few mins but it was cold, eggs were all over cooked, potatoes raw, gravy cold. We ended up eating as much as we could manage anyways because it took so long the first time to get food we didn’t have time to reorder. Waitress came back around to ask us how it was and we really didn’t have much to say. She offered a sorry and a reorder. And then went to her coworker to tell him about us. Overall very uncomfortable service and experience. Not sure if she was having a bad day or something… unfortunately now my family all has upset stomachs as well. I’m just taken back from the...

Rounds was amazing! We were traveling (from Canada and Chicago) and were meeting up for lunch. We chose Rounds and so glad we did! We had a party of 5 and they were really busy when we came in. They quickly cleaned off a table and sat us. I had to ask about the name and thought maybe it was because of the counter in the middle of the restaurant. Our waitress was awesome and super attentive. She explained that the restaurant used to be a circle before the expansions and even brought over a picture of what it used to look like! The food came out quick and was delicious. As we were leaving we noticed we were the only ppl left in the restaurant and realized they closed at 2pm and it was 3! The entire staff were very friendly even though they must’ve been annoyed we kept them over an hour but not one of them mentioned to us they were closing! Amazing. It was the best dining out experience any of us have had in a while! Thank you so much for your hospitality. We will definitely come back to visit and highly...

I highly enjoyed Round's and recommend it for a reasonably priced, delicious breakfast. I was there right at opening and the waitress was incredibly nice and quick with my order. I appreciate that she left me a mug of coffee and a carafe, so I didn't wait for a refill. My order of biscuits and gravy, two eggs, home fries, and toast was delivered quickly and hot. The homemade toast was excellent as well as the biscuits and gravy. I was given the option to replace the toast with an extra biscuit. Regulars started rolling in and were treated like family. That said, I was never ignored in favor of the regulars. The waitress balanced her work with chatting perfectly well. The atmosphere is small town, greasy spoon (and I say that with zero bad intention). I will definitely stop here again when I'm going through Traverse City. I'm excited to try their lunch options.

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Rounds Restaurant for brunch during our recent trip to Traverse City. We were thoroughly impressed with the friendly and efficient service, the high quality of the food, and the nostalgic ambiance of this classic diner. We both opted for the corned beef hash with a poached egg, which was delicious but could have benefited from a more generous portion of corned beef. However, what truly stood out was the cheerful and positive demeanor of the wait staff and the smiles on the faces of the kitchen staff. It was evident that the employees genuinely enjoyed working there, which added to the overall pleasant dining experience. We will likely return to Rounds Restaurant in the future and would highly recommend it to others.

Traverse City - you have a hidden gem! I was directed to this non-comercially advertised diner by a foodie friend with impeccable taste. The ambiance is amazing - decor and prices of yesteryear, with that hometown diner conversation in the background and waitstaff that make you feel at home. The food was just as wholesome and good - eggs, homemade hash, toast, pancakes, sausage, bacon, ham and the perfect cup of coffee. Traverse City - 🙏 Please 🙏 take care of this hometown gem of yours. Stop in, order some food, tip well and chat it up. I look forward to visiting on my next trip up North
