Have been trying to get my better half to try Baxters for a couple weeks, but she does said its just a regular bar food type of food and not at all "honest food" ( meaning not home cooked/everything frozen ) so I decided to take myself there instead and find out for myself.
Went lunchtime on 5/2 intending to work while I was there.
Great points to note:
Walked in, not overly impressed with decor, seemed old - but not bad enough to walk out.
Greeted by host, a young gentleman, very accommodating and pleasant. I asked about wi-fi and he told me how to find it. He asked me where I wanted to sit and offered a quieter place in the back.
Waitress came up promptly, very personal and professional and offered some great suggestions.
Food and drinks came out quickly. ( Ordered Prime Rib Sandwich ) it was very tasty, fresh and I have to tell you. I thought it was "honest"

The snapper soup paired with the bread brought to the table was very enjoyable. I got to sample the burger as well as the turkey dinner (so darn good) from my wife and daughters plates and both were very tasty. The fries were crispy, even the sweet potatoes fries had a nice crunch which they hardly ever do at restaurants. The beef in my french dip was full of flavor, wrapped in a nice soft roll, covered in melty cheese. The waitress was also very friendly and attentive. Overall everything was very good. I don't know if I'll be back but I'm definitely...

I ordered the Baxter's Chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sandwich was served with melted American cheese, lettuce and tomato, and honey mustard on the side. The chicken and bacon were cooked just right. I ate it open with a fork and knife because it was too big for me to bite.... I had the lettuce and tomato on the side. My order of sweet potato fries was large enough to share and they were hot and tasty! ...
