Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken — Restaurant in Trenton

Came in today with my daughter, niece and six employees, we all got in line and my daughter ordered first..chicken dippers..my niece ordered next, I was last in line..so we were standing there when my daughter brings me her plate and says these are not done..so I look at them..she has opened 3 or 4 of them and they are raw and cool to the touch, so I take the plate and say to the cashier(very nice girl) "these are not done hon" she takes the plate looks and sees that they are not done and hands it to the back and tells them that they're not done. Michael Boggs comes up front saying they're done to 180 degrees that it was the marinade that was leaking from the meat, and i said no they're still cold, so he goes and gets one and says it's done. I said she's not going to eat those and he says.."I don't care" my daughter says just give me my money back and I say to him..all you had to do was say yes ma'am we'll cook them again. Then he accuses me of THROWING food in his employees face and being rude..I was stunned..and say "what happens about the customer being right ? and he says NO and gives my daughter her money all the while saying that i was rude to the other customers (my employees) for saying the food was not done, my daughter started crying and walked out and this whole time the cashier was waiting on my employees being super nice and not getting involved when he tried to get her to say that I was rude to her. Come to find out the cashier is his wife and she still didn't back him up. He needs new training on customer service and how to cook...Thank you. Tammy Bosley...ps. Very friendly staff. I ordered a Bar B Q chicken sandwich with wedges. Very good. The inside is closed due to lack of help. Looking forward to being able to eat inside. I do not like to eat inside a car. Visited today and asked for 3pc strip asked for fresh wedges. Hardly ever get wedges even remotely warm here. I don't understand why. If I ask for fresh, my wedges should not be cold. Their not even warm. Must be at work so no time to return my food. I dont want to hold up the line just to check my food. I work hard for the money I'm giving you. My food should be hot. Not satisfied with this place. The customer service is nice....

Update : it's been 3 years since I wrote the review under this one. I figured an update would be good. It's still 5 stars. Still have great comfort food. Always fresh and hot, always great service. Fast, friendly, professional. Still cheaper than the other chicken places, still the number one go to out of chicken restaurants. They were closed the other day, we just skipped chicken that night and I went back tonight instead. I pass three other chicken places to come out here. It's just better, cheaper and fresher.
