Richards Pizza — Restaurant in Trenton

Absolute worst experience, I eat here pretty often and today was a horrible experience. I ordered 3 steak hoagies and French fries. They made my takeout order it sat under the lamps for 30 minutes then when they realized they forgot my order they didn't make the fries. So after the fries were made they gave me my order. The fries were not cooked and the hoagies were cold I called and asked them if they could remake the food as it was not done and they were very nice and said no problem upon taking the old food back and getting the new food home the hoagies were extremely hot meaning way hotter than normal I opened them up and they were heavy, wet and soggy. I am pretty sure they put them in the microwave to make sure they were hot that's what the wet bread reminded me of is being microwaved. The meat and bread was not cooked as if it had went thru a convection oven but more like the food was microwaved until extremely hot. I still had uncooked fries but they were hot. Hoagie buns should not be wet let alone so wet the package was noticeably heavier than normal. I Hate being the guy that complains but I will not be going to richards anymore. $27.64 and have no food...

We ordered our pizza online tonight. We were told our pizza would be ready at 6:27pm. When my husband arrived shortly after 6:30, he said the area was packed. Several people were waiting for their orders. My husband waited until 7pm and still did not receive our order. A guy from the back told the young lady running the register that anyone that ordered online, their orders would be another hour and half before their order would be ready!! The man acted like he was running a bar! Very poor service. Can't believe we ordered before 6 and they expected us to be ok with coming back at 8:30. Where is the professionalism in that? My husband was spoke to rudely after he asked for our money back because he wasn't going to wait until 8:30! We won't be back! We should have been top priority. Was not our fault we were told a certain time and they couldn't get it...

I had a Richard's special, wife had a pepperoni and sausage, daughter had just pepperoni, and cousin had a hogey. The hogey looked good and cousin loved it. Unfortunately, he was the only one. The food was hot, and so were the sodas. The pizza is mediocre at best. Deigorno's is as good, maybe even better. Give me Pappa John's or Domino's over this. Cassono's and Marion's are much better. The sauce is watered down tomatoes paste, virtually no flavor. The pepperoni was not of high quality as it was paper thin and dry. The vegetables were good, but chunky. So, if you got a mushroom, that was all you tasted. The crust was the highlight, soft with a slight crunch, well cooked, not doeey, and pleasant golden brown. But, no garlic butter to further enjoy such a good thing. The price wasn't awful at $41 OTD, but there are better choices at that price...
