The past two days at this McDonald’s have been nothing but a nightmare.
Last night’s visit: I went through the drive thru and ordered a bacon double quarter pounder, 20 piece McNuggets, large fry, and large Dr Pepper. At the window they gave me a regular quarter pounder instead, and the meat was clearly old. This has happened multiple times here, almost like the cooks are too lazy to make fresh food. To make things worse, they didn’t even give me the large fry I paid for, and I had to pull forward and wait while they fixed it. When they finally remade the double quarter pounder, the meat was literally falling apart. I don’t know what they did, but it was terrible. Honestly, the meat at this location is usually bad, and the bread is usually stale.
Today’s visit: It was even worse. The order taker had no clue what she was doing. I asked for the two cheeseburger meal, and instead of just ringing that up, she kept asking if I wanted two separate cheeseburger meals. She also didn’t know how to make the meal large. When I got to the window, once again they gave me a regular quarter pounder instead of a double, and this time I was missing my two cheeseburgers completely. After going back and finally getting them, I got home only to find that the cheeseburgers didn’t even have mustard or onions on them at all, so they weren’t even made correctly.
At this point every visit to this location feels like babysitting the employees step by step. It should not be this much work just to get a basic meal correct. There is clearly no management, no training, and no care for the customer at this restaurant. On top of that, the owner doesn’t even respond to bad reviews like a real person. They just copy and paste a link telling you to complain to customer service, which is just another example of poor management from the top down. And when you try to call the store, the phone never works, most likely shut off because too many people are calling about their messed up orders.
Final thoughts: If you come here, expect your order to be wrong almost every single time. The food quality is poor, the staff doesn’t seem to know how to do their jobs, and the management clearly doesn’t care.

I ordered a large chocolate shake, two large strawberry shakes, two Oreo Mcflurrys, and a Hi-C. I went to the first window and I was greeted with nothing but blatant sarcastic disrespect from the cashier. She says; "It's going to be 18.35" in a rude, sarcastic, high pitched, tone. Instead of dropping to her level, I politely handed her a twenty dollar bill. When she opened the window to give me my change I politely asked for a receipt. The young female cashier cut me off in mid sentence, and replies, in the same rude fashion; "they'll give you your receipt at the second window, thank you!" I proceeded to drive to the second window where I saw her rush to the other side to tell the night manager about it all, and he didn't seem to be scolding her about it. They were having a conversation as if he agreed it was ok to treat me that way. A younger guy greeted me at the second window as the two continued to talk in the background, he was a lot more respectful than the rest of them. When I asked for the lady's name to report her to corporate, the night manager refused. He said; "I don't give out names" There was a Caucasian family that ordered a few shakes right before me. Read moreNot really a McDonald's person, but wanted to visit the new McD's in Trenton. Ordered through the app, due to a special that was offered. Ordered breakfast from home, and picked up in restaurant. Food was ready upon arrival. Egg Mcmuffin was tasteless and cold. Coffee was missing the cream and splenda that I had requested. Sorry Trenton, but you've got to do better to earn my business. I realize that the bar is set low by McD's in Engle's Corner, but the community wants you to succeed.
July 2024: Because this restaurant is close to home, I will occasionally order (over the app) coffee & breakfast early in the morning. This McD's cant seem to ever get the simple coffee order correct. Sometimes my order of cream and splenda are added to the coffee, sometimes not. Other times less cream and splenda are provided. The coffee provided is different on every visit. Come on Mcd's Trenton....
