Starbucks — Restaurant in Trinidad

Whomever was working Friday, Oct 20th in the late afternoon. Best Customer service ever. and great drinks. The Barista who served us was absolutely excellent at her job-- she provided excellent customer service and demonstrated an amazing skill in crafting Starbucks drinks. Sadly, for her, she was the LONE employee in a very busy location (at least a very busy period of time when we visited). We wanted so badly to tip her, as she was an absolute stand-out person and barista, but since she works at a Starbucks inside a Safeway, we were not able to add anything to the purchase for a tip (and we had no cash). As we watched this person make drink after drink and provide amazing service to everyone in line in front and back of us, we felt absolutely saddened that she had to run the register, clean, and make every single drink ordered ----by herself. I hope it was a fluke, and that Safeway and Starbucks treats their employees better than that. The drinks she made us were some of the best we've had (and we are multi-decade long Starbucks customers) and her ability to smile and serve through an obviously stressful and fast-paced time was far above average-- like, atmospherically better than average---- i.e. the best. I wish I was the CEO of a company,solely for the purpose of hiring her. I hope Safeway and Starbucks knows what they have in her and appreciate her ability and strength. I regret not asking for her name. We were on a road trip from New Mexico to Colorado Springs when we stopped at this location, so sadly we probably won't be back to this location for...

Im from Texas and I love my Starbucks but this place REALLY let me down!! I almost always order the same thing, Javachipp Frappe Venti. I basically know how it is made just by watching it been made numerous times before. The ice that has always been used is crushed like ice similar to Sonic ice, but this Starbucks location used bagged ice from either the Safeway its located in or from the convenience store down the street!! It was both ridiculous and dissapointing!! I threw my drink out because it watered down and waited till i was in Fort Worth to taste what a real Starbucks should! Plus, the two women working there were not professional at all cause they were talking VERY badly about another employee that was not even present. This was a tasteless, disrespectful joke of a Starbucks and I will never stop here again on my way in...

I stopped in here before walking around the downtown area to use the restroom and grab a coffee. It took 20 minutes for a starbucks employee to acknowledge me. There was an employee in training, which I can be patient for. However, I do expect an acknowledgement. My coffee on the other hand tasted great and the employee in training was incredibly nice. As for the Safeway, the store is very dirty. Half of the patrons in the store weren’t wearing masks even though it is state mandated. The bathroom is located at the end of aisle 6, past their storage room next to freezers. Talk about uncomfortable as a female by herself.
