If you like Dairy Queen, this is a very nice example of the best they have to offer. It is clean and comfortable with smiling employees who work efficiently.
The food is properly made, and the selection is quintessential DQ. My husband loves Dip Cones as the experience of buying and eating a DQ Dip Cone hearkens back to his childhood, and it is a tradition for us to stop at a Dairy Queen on at least one leg of every road trip.
I also have very fond memories of DQ from my childhood; however, my taste has changed considerably and so, I confess the menu offers little that really appeals to me except the desserts.
Nonetheless, if you want something a bit greasy with darn-good fries, followed by a rich, tasty Blizzard and you head this way, then you are going to the right place.
Edit: This Dairy Queen is smack dab in the middle of a 3-hour drive we routinely make to see my family. Asca result, we stop by fairly frequently (I knew my husband and I were soul mates when he told me his rule that every road trip include a Dairy Queen stop, and I already had been following the same rule for more than 2 decades!).
So, we almost always go inside because my husband dislikes drive-thru's, plus there seems to always be a line at this DQ. Inside the interior is well maintained, and the cashiers are always projecting positive, cheerful vibes. The service is quick, and the quality is consistent.
Dairy Queens are all owner-operated franchises, and this one feels like a family has run it for years, and they take pride in...
Read moreI don't know why you have to wait 10 minutes for an extra chicken strip and when you ask for extras they turn your nose up on you. I've been coming to this Dairy Queen have dealt with the management have dealt with the people that are inside there I figured everybody else should know what I go through every time I come through here. There's only one cashier when you walk into the door after church services that is very nice and very sweet the rest of the crew can give you the face the attitude get what you want and get out of my face. The Management's team is being courteous and the owner has been apologetic the last time I complained. But that doesn't change their staff their stuff is still the same they're not customer friendly and they could care less if they do your food right or not they don't even check it they just bag it and say here you go especially through drive-thru. I've been in retail before and I have seen when there's One Bad Apple it makes the whole team like really bad so I hate to give only one star but that's...
Read moreEXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I watched the manager pick up a piece of trash off the floor w/ rubber gloves on, then make my order with the trash in her hands. She didn't like being checked and attacked me with the dirty trash. Owner doesn't care. Lack luster crew, poor attitudes with a non- caring owner make for a dirty, unpleasant experience. This place however will get high marks from the non-discriminating locals who rarely get out of a 20 mile radius. Upper management doesn't care as well. Tthe systematic inability of DQ to deal with this incident has me doubting their integrity across the board at all levels.SONIC is a far better option. I have been a life long customer, but after Trinity Texas, I doubt that I ever step foot inside a DQ again. Definitely not in TrNOTy Texas, not unless you like being talked down to by rude condescending employees and a weak owner, Curtis. Here to forth shall be referred to as...
