Firehouse Pizza — Restaurant in Trinity

I have only had pizza here, so that is all I'm reviewing. We always eat there, so I cannot speak for delivery service either. We have had pizza here several times since September of this year. Every time, the pizza has been excellent. It has a very thin and crispy crust the way we like it. It is always consistent. That being said, from the looks of the inside, the owner does not care much about sit down customers and probably makes most of his money on deliveries, esp. since Covid hit. This place looks like it should be on restaurant rescue. There is a large pizza oven covered in insulation and plastic wrapping in the kitchen. It has been there for months. I don't know what is going on there. Then, there are huge sheets of drywall and other equipment sitting in the dining room and have been for a while. As other reviewers have mentioned, the only people working there are teenagers that look barely 16. They do a decent job (given their age), but in a restaurant business, you really need an adult manager on site, at the very least during peak hours. We don't live around Trinity, but we ate there tonight since we were in town. We ordered a large supreme pizza, medium cheesy bread and a chef salad. It was very good. The pizza had a lot of toppings, the crust was fluffy and the sauce was nice. The cheesy bread was garlicky and had gooey cheese. It was very similar to old school Mr. Jim's Pizza Jim Sticks. The chef salad was fresh with plenty of toppings. The fountain drinks were a little off on the mix, so they gave us some 20oz bottle drinks instead. Service was a bit slow, but they were trying hard to get it out to us. The two kids who helped us were nice and on top of things. They apologized for the slow service, but we weren't in a hurry so it was ok. I'm not sure why they were slow since it didn't seem like they were very busy. I order from this place 2 to 3 times a week, last night me and my husband ordered 2 fish and shrimp platters. The guy on the phone said they are pretty big pieces of fish and shrimp, you get 8 pieces of fish and 4 shrimps, ok so I ordered 2 with seasoned fries, I have got delivery a couple of times so the car pull up and my house, we are sitting outside, and as I started walking to the car , it drove off, I called firehouse to tell them to come back, she did, so I took the food in the house opened it in one I had 3 small little nuggets of fish and 4 shrimp, the other I had 4 small nuggets of fish and 4 shrimp, My fries were so soggy and greasy, I was in disbelief, and the fries were not seasoned, so I called them back and the manager said I will send u 8 more pieces and some seasoned fries, the lady pulled back up , they sent me 8 more pieces and SOME SEASON in a cup.
