I'm always looking for places where I can do healthier options when I'm on the road. Spotted this and thought I would give it a try as they had chicken tacos and bowls. Sadly, everything comes with refried beans which is one of the worst things you can eat and the most tasteless. I ordered two of the tacos which are almost $6 a piece and as I'm allergic to milk I couldn't have the cheese or the sour cream and I asked for the refried beans to be left off. Which is fine by me I'm okay with just vegetables and the meat that's my preference. The red and orange salsa / sauce for the tacos was really good as someone else has mentioned, however the tacos themselves had very little meat and practically no vegetables. It was largely a taco stuffed full of potatoes which is the cheapest thing next to the refried beans you could put on a food item. Thank God it wasn't super greasy like something of that sort normally would be. But very disappointed like someone else said it's just mediocre food and in this case it is way overpriced because you're mostly getting potatoes I strongly suspect if you get the cheese and sour cream that's supposed to come with it you don't get much of that either but I can't speak to that what I can't speak to is I had two potato tacos this morning each of them might have had two tablespoons of chicken and one tablespoon of vegetables. Also after I asked to use the restroom only to find out there's no restroom. In most states a building serving food is required by law to have a restroom. I'm left wondering how people who eat here wash their hands before they eat - nasty! I'm also left wondering after pondering it, how are the employees in the kitchen are handling not having a restroom? I hope I don't end up sick is now the ...

Tortillas are tasty and sturdy enough to not break without being huge thick ones. Eggs/potatoes/pico/meat/refried beans inside were all super tasty. The green salsa was really nice (it's the smooth creamy kind, I think an oil/chile emulsion, maybe with avocado but I don't think so). The orange salsa was freaking incredible (the same smooth style as the green but with habaneros) with a bit more heat. The red looked tasty as well but I didn't try that (tomato based, not sure if it was a fresh or cooked version since I didn't have it). You may need a fork to catch some overflow, they seriously load these tortillas full, $5-$6 per taco is definitely fair given the size. They offered flour and corn tortillas or they can do tacos in a bowl instead if you're avoiding carbs. Outdoor covered seating is available. Easy recommendation. We don't get out that way too often but will definitely stop by the...

I travel from Conroe, TX to Kentucky a lot and I always pass through Trinity,TX , but it's usually at 4:00 or 5:00 a.m. Every time passing through I always see this TACOS BY THE TRAX place and want to try their food. The amount of signage and marketing that they have outside alone makes me want to see what they have! I finally got to stop in one day at lunch time as I was there for work . I was greeted at the window by Elizabeth with a huge smile and a warm welcome! I ordered a steak quesadilla, because that was in my mind the best thing to eat while driving. The quesadilla came out in less than 5 minutes piping hot ! As said previously it was by far "the best quesadilla I've ever had"!!!!! Highly recommend this little roadside spot ! I will definitely be returning...
