Jimmy John's no matter which location you go to is usually consistent with their sandwiches. Unfortunately the level of service at this location is below average. The employees are very nice, but they cannot handle the lunch rush. More than once I have ordered via the mobile app and returned to my office to find out I was given the wrong order. It's a PITA to walk back there after I already arrived back to my desk, but they usually take care of the mistake promptly. Today the employee argues with me. On the mobile app, I ordered a #15, Tuna Club unwhich. Uniwhich's are my go to selection 95% of the time. At this location you have to wait in the regular line when picking up your order, which doesn't seem right being that it was ordered ahead of time and it is likely already ready to go when arriving. So I waited in line and picked up my order. There is an option to put a name on the sandwich when ordering on the app, so I always put my nickname there and when I pick up my order I use this name. They can never figure out which one is mine because they don't look at this part of the receipt I guess and then claim they don't have an order under that name. anyway, that's no big deal I guess, just a small annoyance. So, I walked back to my office and sat down to eat lunch. I opened the bag and saw that there was bacon and turkey in the unwhich, so 100% wrong...AGAIN. This is the 3rd time this has happened. I walked back to JJ's and told them the order was wrong. I handed them the receipt and the bag. The employee at the sandwich making station argued with me that they gave me the right item, while he was looking at the receipt. He asked what was wrong with it and I said there is bacon in it. He said "We gave you the right order, #16." I then responded back that I ordered the CLUB TUNA. Looking at the receipt he immediately became quiet and then made the correct item. He said he put a bag of chips in the bag for the inconvenience, but honestly he should have kept the chips, because I did not ask for anything more and they will likely be thrown out. I walk back to my office again. I opened the wrapping and yes, it is right now, but they basically gave me a dang salad, NOT A WRAPPED UNWHICH. The lettuce cannot even fit all the way around to wrap properly and now I am eating my sandwich in bits and pieces and it is a mess. I am beyond annoyed with this place. They should be used to a daily lunch rush based on their location surrounded by several professional buildings, and I did not appreciate the employee arguing with me that initial order was correct and then hands me something barely considered an unwhich. Read moreI work very close to this Jimmy John's and go there often since it's convenient. I have never had a "freaky fast" experience at this Jimmy John's. There's often a line of people at the end of the counter waiting for their sub to be made.
Recently, Jimmy John's came out with the Frenchie, and I absolutely love these. The problem is, they don't seem to start making them early enough. I typically arrive at 12 noon to get a sandwich, and the bucket with the frenchie sub is always empty. When I ask the workers, they say they haven't started making it yet. At that point the lunch rush is in full swing, and I don't have the time to wait for them to make all the frenchies. I feel like this should be something that's ready to go for the lunch rush. Read moreI recently visited this Jimmy John’s after not being there for a while, and unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. When I politely asked the employee what he recommends, he responded with, “I don’t recommend nothing,” in a rude and dismissive tone. He seemed irritated for no reason.
When I asked if they had vinegar — something every Jimmy John’s I’ve been to has — he said “no” without explanation. The overall attitude felt very disrespectful and unprofessional. I walked in looking forward to a good sub and instead walked out feeling disrespected.
