I went to school in Troy, and somehow never ate there. However, I came to visit some friends and one treated me to dinner and asked if I wanted to try Julia's. They closed at 8 I believe, and we got there at almost 730 that night, yet we got service, hospitality and food as if we walked in the minute it opened. All the way up until the last couple of families were in there (yes, very family oriented place, great atmosphere), waiters smiled, food was refreshed and our beverages never saw the half way mark. This was the epitome of "service with a smile" in my opinion. The food was great, and my only regret about this experience was not getting to the last slice of Apple pie before my friend did. Great restaurant. It's not the biggest buffet in the world but you taste the care and love in the food that's hear, so it's an easy trade-off for me. 5...

We had a party of 8, and while the place was moderately busy (Saturday morning breakfast), we were accommodated quickly in the spacious and clean dining area, and the staff were friendly, efficient, and hospitable. The food is cafeteria style; they had scrambled eggs, various breakfast meats, biscuits, sausage gravy, tomato gravy, cheese grits, hash browns, French toast, pancakes, and more. You can ask for any of the options available, and the staff create your plate. I have to write this down before I forget. " No silverware was brought to us. They had some on a table that they were wrapping (which is where most of their time was spent talking with each other) so we went to that table and got our own. Salt and pepper shakers looked like they haven't been cleaned since before the pandemic. No soap or hand sanitizer in the women's bathroom. Mediocre food and my cinnamon roll was raw in the middle. When we left there not one person said thank you, bye, come back, kiss my foot or anything . Nor did they say anything to anyone else who left except one group of people who were...
