Kerby's Koney Island — Restaurant in Troy

Our family likes to meet here and go to the cemetery after our breakfast. The waitresses are very nice. The food is horrible!!! Don't go on Sunday morning!! Today the eggs where overdone. The hash browns where cold. Our "well done onions " we asked for where raw!!! Our well done meat was not cooked! And when I complained to the manager he had A very non professional attitude! He had the nerve to tell me he remembers me complaining before! Unbelievable!! We did complain when the "well done" hash browns we asked for weren't done last time! That was a year ago. I highly doubt he remembers my family of 10 being there before. that's the kind of manager runs the place. I guess your supposed to shut up and eat what you get. We will never go there again! We tried to go again thinking maybe it was a fluke the 1st time. It's not the money. Its the princible. The manager made me feel I was just complaining to get money off the bill. He seemed very put off by our complaints. I was a cook and several people at my our table worked in the restraunt industry and We are apauled. How can a cook come in on a Sunday and not be prepared for people. It's clearly bad management!!! I will make sure everyone I know does not go there at least on...

First time going into any form of Koney island and I was impressed by how clean the restaurant was when I came in. Waitress was friendly but not very attentive to the point where I had to walk up to the counter to grab my dehydrated girlfriend a glass of water since after taking our order our waitress disappeared and did not take the time to check in on us. Once our food came it was unimpressive. I know my girlfriend order chilli fries but the kitchen staff must have read it as "chilly" fries because both the chilli and fries were cold, as well as my gyro. I had also asked for no onion and was not warned that the sauce contained large chunks of what looked like onion. If I knew that I would of gotten a different meal. The only saving grace was the chocolate cake I got to go. Though it did take a while for them to get it to me with there being a large line ready to pay (which I under stand they can not control) but the cake was right next to the register that I paid at. Over all I was highly disappointed in my first time visiting this chain and style or eatery. My girlfriend said that usually this location is the best and it must of been an off day so I will give them that but I might be willing to try a different location...

I work at Troy Internal Medicine and I often visit this restaurant on my lunch break because its convenient and the food is always good. Today I ordered (take out) two salads Cobb w/ Grilled Chicken and a Grilled Greek Salad. I didn't receive any dressing for my Greek Salad. However, that isn't the issue here. About 7 fork fulls into my salad, I noticed a black bug crawling on a piece of lettuce. This disgusted me to the max. It couldn't have flown on there because it had ranch dressing on it. I kept the bug inside the container and took both salads back to the restaurant. The lady at the register, who was understanding, took my salad and handed it to the manager. She then proceeded back to me to tell me that they'll make me another one. I refused and asked for a full refund. The manager didn't even acknowledge the fact that there was an issue with my order. He never came up to apologize or even made eye contact. He was too focused on the party of two who walked in behind me. I will never again visit this location. I'm not upset about the fact that the lettuce wasn't properly washed (if it was washed at all). I'm upset at the fact that the manager didn't approach me and acted as if this issue was of the...
