The Burger Truck Troy — Restaurant in Troy

🤮 Extremely disappointed. First time here and this place was absolutely filthy. When they're comfortable letting the parts people can see get so gross, just imagine what the kitchen must be like. Behind the counter there was a wet/dirty mop just laying on the ground and trash and napkins spread around the floor (pictured). Then I took a seat to wait and the booth's seat was broken and I fell in! I mentioned it to the staff and he just said "thanks for letting me know". The place itself smelled bad so I went into the hotel lobby right outside the and told the kid at the counter if he there and to let me know when my order comes up (it's like 15 feet away). You probably guessed what happened next. He didn't let me know and eventually I came and got my order. I asked him "hey how come you didn't let me know?" and he looked up from his phone for just long enough to apologize.

Then I got home opened my order and it was completely wrong! Ordered a hot dog and got chicken nuggets lol. Totally different burger too. I didn't touch the food and called three times for a refund but they never answered. So I drove all the way back and thankfully they were very kind & understanding (offered to remake it, etc) and gave me the refund immediately.

Brick and mortar is really different from a truck so I hope the owners cut their losses before sinking too much into a physical location they aren't committed to...

Okay I’m very picky with how my meat is cooked and how it’s seasoned put OMG I had a burger last week and my mouth is still watering because of the presentation and how it tastes and I will be going back there a million more times and the people who work there are awesome and kind so respectful and patient like I can’t describe how good the food was and guess what every restaurant uses frozen patty’s with mystery meat but this food truck has raw beef that the cook on the spot and if your someone you liked thin flavorful patty this is your spot I don’t think there’s enough word to describe how good this was I definitely recommend you go and try for yourself because words are words but once you try it you will understand my feelings when I ate it was like the rat from ratatouille when he mixed the strawberry and cheese sadly I can’t give this truck more than a 5 stars that’s the highest but I think they deserve more oh and the...

I recently visited The Burger Truck, and I must say, their sliders and fries were absolutely amazing! From the very first bite, I could tell that everything was incredibly fresh.
