Pacific Crest Coffee Company — Restaurant in Truckee

Would not go here ever again. I try and support the other smaller coffee shops besides the giant but I will go there before here again. I wrote this on the square app so they could see it ....Vanilla latte was great but the small was practically a Dixie cup. Nitro cold brew was awful 3 people tried it. Customer service was non existent. The response I got from the store was I should tip better than 12% even if I get bad service. All I expect for customer service is a simple greeting or can I help you. I just got the person looking at me like are you going to order or what. This was there response...(I spoke with the girls that were working with me, and neither said that they recall seeing anyone giving the universal “I’d like to speak with someone look” that normally kicks our customer service team into gear. )I am not a person that usually writes reviews or makes it public. That is why I responded on the square app because they asked for an opinion. I instead got a lecture on how to be a better customer, to tip better for terrible service, and wording like this ..If you insist on doing business with small service , I would suggest in the future—, all telling me how to be...

I found the coffee maker I wanted on their website. I was immediately contacted by Ralph (not sure if he is owner or team member) and told the color I wanted was out of stock but he listed the colors that were available. I selected my 2nd choice. With a sincere apology for not having my 1st choice of color, he asked what my preference for coffee was...dark or light. Long story short, I received my Moccamaster machine and am in LOVE with the color (copper) ! The bag of coffee beans Ralph sent had a hand written note expressing their gratefulness for my order and he said that he and and his team all owned the Moccamaster and loved it. My first cups were immediately brewed, hands down, the tastiest cup of coffee I've ever had! I ran out of Pacific Crest coffee beans and bought some other brands. I quickly realized that Pacific crest beans and the Moccamaster were equally responsible for the deliciousness of my first brew. Now I'm going to order their beans and look forward to doing business with this company for a long time to come. Top notch customer service with a personal touch....it doesn't...

A little tucked away and absolutely worth the trip. Pacific Crest is first and foremost a roastery, with a coffee bar and some seating up front. The bean selection is wide and roasted on-site. Ralph knows his stuff, so even this coffee snob was happy to take his recommendations. The iced chai is excellent, particulalry as is is sweetened to order.
