If you're in Truckee and looking for a spot with a great atmosphere and awesome vibes, Truckee Brewery is the place to be. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between laid-back and lively, with great music setting the tone for a fantastic time. A special shoutout to Sam, the bartender—this guy is not only super nice but also incredibly informative and genuinely interesting to chat with. Whether you're a beer enthusiast or just dipping your toes into the craft scene, Sam's knowledge and welcoming demeanor make the experience all the better. Now, onto the beer! The selection is varied, ensuring there's something for everyone. I have to highlight the Pecker Point Pilsner—it’s a genuinely good pilsner, crisp and refreshing with a depth of flavor that stands out. I sampled a few others, and each beer had a unique, complex taste that shows real craftsmanship. Overall, Truckee Brewery offers a top-notch experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it’s well worth a visit. Great beer, great people, great times!

Refuel your body, get your groceries, charge up your Tesla all within the same parking lot. And if you have a dog, you can dine outside and enjoy some yummy food. I had the nachos with pork (recommended by our server) which was tasty alongside a Truckee Brewing west coast IPA. It was a good recommendation. My husband had the shrimp tacos which were also very good. Lunch was reasonably and appropriately priced. Bathrooms are gender neutral which is a plus. If you are in the neighborhood and as I said at the beginning, you need groceries, Raleys is right across the parking lot and has Tesla chargers next to the building. Total bonus: there’s a Mountain Hardware and Sports if you need just about anything else.

Stopped in on our way through town and am really glad we did. This was a great place to go have beers, hang out, and relax before hitting the road again. We each like different styles of beers and they had something that each of us enjoyed. It's a really great atmosphere and it seemed like locals like to visit often. I really liked that they supported local artists and featured their work on the walls. The employees were really friendly and fun to chat with. Will make this a standard stop any time I drive through the area.

Overall, pretty good...., I thought that they had food, but the beer I had was pretty awesome. The the only reason i'm subtracting a star is half because they don't have food when I thought that they did (per the website) and half because there was a screaming child that took up half the brewery, at least proverbially if not literally.... There's literally no reason for there to be anyone under 21 years old in an establishment that only serves alcohol; I said what I said. I know you guys are trying to make some business off the parents before the children go back to school. But honestly, I would have stayed and had a few more beers if I hadn't had to listen to random earsplitting shrieking, so hopefully they made up for my...
