I had the WORST experience with this Edgar's location. First off, when my sister arrived to pick up the cake, it nowhere to be found. Then finally after 10 minutes or more, it was located. Since we've ordered from Edgar's numerous times, including the 280 location, she didn't feel the need to open the cake to check the box since the wording on the cake listed my name. So when we arrived to the venue 15 minutes later, to sit the cake out, we were shocked. The cake layers were not evenly iced, it was shifted and the icing was super mushy as if it had sat out in a hot store all night. I was told the cake was made the day before so one would think it should have been refrigerated at the least. I had to alert the kitchen manager at the venue, who literally had to perform surgery on this cake. She was able to salvage what she could, luckily she has experience with this type of thing and knows what quality should look like. I sent an email to customer service on Saturday with pictures explaining what happened and how upset I was. After speaking with customer service (a complete joke), the guy was not sympathetic to my situation, very dry and unfriendly, denied all wrongdoing, and offered a lousy gift card. He should be re-trained in customer service! Are you kidding me, a gift card?? This location is a joke and honestly, whoever made my birthday cake should be re-trained and should apologize for causing me such an inconvenience on my special day. Publix would have done a better job! I should have listened to my first mind, to order from the 280 location, because this location totally screwed up BADLY! ...

I’m giving my experience a 2 star, here’s why. I ordered a cake over the phone Friday, I spoke to a nice gentleman & specifically asked do they have enough time to prepare a cake for pickup on Sunday, I was aware it last minute. The caller stated it depends on what I wanted. So I gave him my order verbatim “8 inch yellow(yellow cake flavor not color) round cake, vanilla buttercream icing, different shades of purple & red flowers for decoration (purp & red is my sister’s favorite colors & the color of the decorations for the party) I wanted “Happy 31st Birthday Kristle!” written on the cake. The gentleman informed me the cake would be ready Saturday at 3p.m. since they would be closed Sunday. I was told I had to pay over the phone, so I did! He repeated the order & spelled the name correctly. Saturday at 3p.m. I had my father pick up the order the name was spelled incorrect so he had them fix the name from Kristie to Kristle. Finally the cake arrives to the party it was a beautiful cake, but not what I ordered, delicious cake, very moist & rich... but not exactly what I ordered. I hate to make a big deal out of things, but if I wanted to just get a random cake out the case I would’ve. I didn’t waste $37.00 because we ate it the cake, but that’s not the cake I wanted so I’m not happy about how my first experience went. Also the first thing my sister said when she saw the cake was “they spelled my name wrong” y’all did a rushed & horrible job fixing that. I would like a...

My first experience, I ordered a cake, it was not the one that was supposedly been on picture, that was disappointed, they credit me a $10.00 gift card, glad it wasn't represented in front of many guest to show. Now, just recently, my husband purchase inside the store 2 slices of cake and a cinnamon roll and orange roll to bring to me for my birthday surprise. Well, I said Oops what is this, he said I know. He ask them at the counter about it and they just looked at him, with a weird unconcerned face, and didn't or say anything. But, he still purchase all items. I told him I wouldn't have; it seems like everything had shrunk for as making for as ingredients. Yes, the slices aren't like it was about 5 years ago, and oh my the rolls look like biscuits. I would give them a 0 on scale for as taste, look, and price! But he tried. Like some of the other reviews stated, skills and customer service could use help in that department. The business is great there (especially in AM) , I'm glad for the area. But, to keep that image up, you need to continue when you first open, now the quality and prices make a difference. I will travel further if it's worth it. Overall I'll...

I ordered 2 cakes for my granddaughter's 1st birthday party. Her smash cake was not what I ordered and paid for. They did fix it but by the time we got home it was a little lower on one side so we put it straight in the refrigerator. By the time the party time came it was very crooked. My daughter held the cake straight all the way home, we in no way tilted the cake at all. I emailed the customer service department at lunch Monday and by lunch Tuesday had not received a response so I called and spoke with Brent, he said he hadn't gotten the information until late Monday and he would call me back yesterday. I finally emailed back today to see what they were going to do and he finally called me to tell me that he didn't know why the cake wasn't done properly to begin with and that it was our fault that the cake was like that. I work in customer service and I would never treat my customers the way he treated me! I will never buy anything else from them!

Edgar's is always okay. I've been buying from them for 12+ years, their strawberry cake used to be an office birthday hit. Petit fours were often requested and locked up. And yet... I never liked it. It's too sweet, without anything to balance it. I've been here a few times for actual food. Usually breakfast. The service is fine, it's cafeteria style with baked goods ordered from the counter while in line for the register, where you can order food. Had oatmeal, it was cold and solid. Partner's omelette looked okay. Chai tea was from concentrate, and partner's herbal tea was a cup of hot water and a wave toward a loose bin of teas. Fun. Maybe the coffee is good. Who knows? The restaurant itself is roomy, spacious, and has a nice outdoor area. None of which matters because the entire space is blindingly white and bright. Don't worry, the seats are hard and uncomfortable too. So, here's to Edgar's. Mediocrity in bright white.

I’ve been here a total of three times & enjoy the food. The atmosphere is nice, though it always seems to take a while for the tables to be bused and cleaned. On my most recent visit , I made a request that the sandwich meat on my sandwich he steamed (warmed In The microwave) because I am pregnant. The cook on duty was extremely rude, rolled her eyes and gave me a lot of sass for my request. She communicated that she would not steam the meat. I was shocked by her lack of customer service, and truly embarrassed because I brought two friends to have lunch with me. I think it will be a while before I return, especially to this location. I’m super bummed !
