Absolutely unacceptable service tonight. Started off fine, placed my order came to the window and paid for my order and was handed a bag. Now is where it starts to go downhill. I was not given nor offered a receipt, the bags are sealed due to COVID so we didn’t check the order right there in the parking lot as usual so we headed home 15 minutes away. We get home and food is missing from the bag that was ordered and paid for, so with no receipt to get the phone number off of I Google it and call them. The first call started off normal with me stating that I had just been there and what my order was and what was missing, I asked to speak to a manager and then whomever answered sat the phone down while speaking about me to the supervisor who I hear say “is she still on the phone”, then they hang up on me. So I call back this time done being polite and patient, they answer the work phone, the number listed for them on Google with, “hello thank you for calling Dominos pizza how can I help you” to which I responded “I know this is Taco Bell put a supervisor on the phone immediately” and boom what a surprise hung up on again. So then I decide “ok well this clearly isn’t getting handled over the phone.” So I drive the 15 minutes back down there and pull up to the drive through and request to speak to the supervisor, which is where Ramona who claimed to be the supervisor was at the window the same person who handled my order in the first place, I explained my prior two calls to the establishment and said “it sure is funny because to me this looks like a Taco Bell not a Domino’s, I want the corporate number and a refund” to which she says well maybe you called the wrong number so I showed her my phone and said no problem here let’s call it right now and see what happens do you have a phone nearby, she pulls one right out of her pocket and I call the number on Bluetooth in my car and oh to my surprise it rings right there. So I asked “being as you stated that you are the supervisor my assumption is that you are keeping some kind of eye on the conduct of the employees working under you, so who decided it would be a good idea to hang up on me the first time and then answer and pretend to be dominos the second time and hang up on me again?” She says she doesn’t know that there are only three people working tonight counting herself and one only speaks Spanish. I responded with “then either you or the other English speaking employee were the ones who behaved this way which is completely unacceptable and inappropriate or the third employee does actually speak English and you’re lying to me. Either way I want the corporate phone number so I can contact them.” Then I’m given on a handwritten note the wrong phone number for a poor banker in Washington. So I turn around and go back to the drive through, this time furious and pull up to the window and say “wow you all must think I’m stupid, you gave me a random persons phone number and claimed it was your corporate/franchise number” and was then again accused of calling the wrong number so I call the number again on Bluetooth in the car and this time the poor banker man answers and I ask him for Ramona to hear if he is in anyway connected to the Taco Bell in Tigard/Tualatin and he sleepily says no so I apologize for waking him and hang up. Then I look at Ramona and tell her I want the correct number immediately and I’m not leaving without it. So she is handed by an unseen employee a list which I take a photo of and hand bank. Ridiculous. Incompetent and ineffective management and employees. Contacting the correct corporate...
Read moreI will admit my closeted addiction to Taco Bell’s bean burrito, grilled with sour cream. It’s not a bad place for a quick meal as long as a toilet is nearby. Besides preparing you for Montezuma‘s revenge, I have a moral obligation to make you aware of a scam (coin shortage). This has been going on at this location for over a year. I hate to call it a scam because I don’t believe the employees really know, or at least I will give the benefit of doubt. If you are told that they can’t give you change just know there IS NO COIN SHORTAGE.
A year ago this TACO BELL apparently didhad a coin shortage so they Posted a sign asking for exact change or to use a credit card when paying. If you didn’t have the exact change they would round up the total and keep the change. At the time I thought it was odd to ask to keep the change but then times are strange. There were other businesses in the area making the same claim, I also researched found there was less coin circulation as more were turning to pay with credit because currency was filthy and potentially could transfer Covid.
After the sign was no longer posted many of the employees took it upon themselves to tell the Customer there was still a shortage and if you didn’t have exact change they rounded up and kept your change. It ended up dying down.
Fast forward, A year later, just last week, I got my usual and as I reached for My payment the cashier informed me of another “coin shortage”. So instead of filling the pockets of Taco Bell I told this person that I am happy to give her ALL my change if she was saving to go to college but not giving anymore to Taco Bell. I did read that other Taco Bell’s were offering free tacos If you paid with a roll of coins. Well that’s a Nobel idea. Hmmm….. tell me...
Read moreFirst, i just wanted to say that the workers at tacobell are doing the best that they can. They deliver fast food, reliable service, and are very kind. They do the best they can to make things right even when things go wrong. They are good hard workers and i thank them for their patience.
To the rest of ya'll commenters who are spouting bad nonsense, THink before you type! Ya'll on here complaining about how you have to wait 30mins to an hour, Did you not think that the problem may not be the workers at taco bell being slow but it might be the person who ordered 40 items in front of you!? THink - the more you order, the more you and the people behind you have to wait.
And pick up drivers for Uber/Door Dash. There are SIGNS out front that tell you to come inside the store to pick up the food ya'll have to deliver - STOP Going through the Drive thru! The only time ya'll should be going into the drive thru is when the lobby is closed! Plus - Its way faster to go inside and pick up the food then it is to wait an hour in the drive thur, only to be told to come inside for the pick up. Have some common sense people! I myself had to do a few uber eats pick ups with this place and it's a pretty easy to go inside and fetch the order.
And for the record, I have seen some rude customers being mean to the taco bell workers. These workers are young, hard at work making food and taking orders. Ya'll customers got to treat them better. They're very few workers on hand at this place. So if ya'll need something from them - Ask them politely. Be nice and wait your turn.
I apologies for the rant. I would recommend this place to the open minded, kind, and to those who have patience. May your day behold a lovely...
