The grand has a beautiful grand entrance and just steps inside is a large living room area. With several small intimate seating areas to sit and visit. They have complimentary coffee bar as well. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. My room had a king bed, couch and desk. Many plug-ins and electronics plug ins too. The bathroom was big and nicely done with wall paper and granite counter tops. The shower was stand alone and a bit tight fit, but the shower head was a rain one and I loved that. I am not much of a bath person. The tub was very shallow and average length. So if you wanted a soak, I think you would be disappointed. For a quick bath with kiddos it would be perfect. The bathroom floor tile had pops of fancy pretty tiles to break up the plain tile. I loved the pops of color and design. In room coffee maker did not use plastic cups, loved that!!!! I try hard to avoid plastic. My room also had mini refrigerator and cabinet with drawers, suitcase rack and hair dryer. Being so close to the highway was not a problem, well insulated from the noise of the highway. Walking distance to Bridgeport Mall and all it has to offer. The only down side to my room was the view out the window. There was a roof and then a 2 foot strip of surface that had vents and such. All the black and green moss and such was not pretty to look at, personally. I would definitely...

First if all they got my reservation on the wrong day. I had to keep reminding the person of the correct date and she still got it wrong. When i checked in they of course didn't have my reservation and the girl behind the counter said they were full. I asked fir an upgrade but she said she had no rooms. She did offer to find me another hotel but I was there for a wedding and that is where everyone was staying. Also my son was part if the wedding party as a groomsman. She did offer a room so we could change our clothes. I agreed and said when i change I want to speak to the manager. When I came back with my clothes to pick up the key the girl said I could have the room. Funny when you ask for a manger a room is available. They also charged ne the wrong amount. I paid for my son's room and mine. They also charged my son. He did called and it was fixed. When I called today to talk about my bill because I have been charged way to much. Spoke to the manager Lauren, and she really didn't care about any of it. Just oh I'm sorry but at keast you got a room. Long story short I will not stay there again!!! Please retrain in...

I have been staying at this hotel for probably ten years. The hotel is the exact same today as it was then. That means the same carpet, same beds, same TVs, etc. While the staff is great, the rooms are spacious, the breakfast is pretty good, it is time to get new carpet, new, comfortable beds, and larger TVs.

Carpet -Seriously, the carpet is the same carpet that has been here from the beginning. You can only clean it so many times before it just kind of has a moldy smell and needs to be replaced. Ten year old carpet in a hotel is time to change.

Beds - I'd swear these are the exact same mattresses that have been here the entire time. You can feel the springs and when you move, the whole bed moves. It is time to get new mattresses.

TV - The TVs in the rooms have to be some of the smallest TVs I've seen in a hotel. The room is spacious which is good, but when you have a small TV in a spacious room, it is too small. Even Fairfield Inns have larger TVs.

Overall, the hotel is a nice, clean hotel and is staffed by friendly and courteous staff but needs...

The Grand Hotel was a wonderful stay, with breakfast to boot. Immediately upon check in, the front staff were warm and welcoming. The lobby is clean and nicely appointed. There is an indoor pool and jacuzzi that we opted not to use, because there were just too many kids, but it was ok. It was Father's Day. The room was a nice size, clean and comfortable. The beds were soft for my liking, but not uncomfortable. I just like a firmer mattress. The bathroom was large with a nice sized tub and separate shower. Taking a nice warm bath was relaxing! Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast buffet. Fresh fruit, pastries, cereal selection, eggs, sausage, waffles, toast, English muffins, oatmeal...and more! They did a good job keeping it stocked, even up to closing time for the late stragglers. I would whole heartedly recommend The Grand Hotel. It's located in a nice area with plenty of shopping and things to do. An excellent stay, for sure.

I stayed at The Grand Hotel in Bridgeport for almost six weeks, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The room was very comfortable, always clean, and kept pleasantly warm, which made my extended stay even more enjoyable. The housekeeping team maintained a high standard of cleanliness, and the overall atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Got hot and cold water For anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and well-maintained place to stay in Bridgeport โ€” whether for a few nights or several weeks โ€” I would highly recommend The Grand Hotel. Itโ€™s the perfect blend of comfort and care. And thank you for sending my parcel that left after my checkout to my country Malaysia ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿฅนโค๏ธ tq molly

Fantastic staff, super comfortable and large room, room has microwave, mini fridge, each floor has a washer/dryer. Small gift shop sells sodas, candy, chips. Each floor has an ice machine by the elevator. With no traffic, about 40 minutes from Portland International Airport, code PDX, Portland, Oregon . Allow time, heavy traffic starts at 8am and after 3pm, could be over an hour to get to airport, sometimes longer. Uber and Lyft within 10-15 minutes of call but could be longer. Hotel lobby has shuttle within 5 miles. Fresh baked cookies in lobby and coffee, wifi.
