Sharetea Lake Oswego — Restaurant in Tualatin

I usually go to ShareTea with my nephews and mom. We usually always get the same thing. My nephews get the strawberry ice blended with lychee, ice cream and boba. My mom and I usually split the Hokkaido pearl milk tea. We went on 7/29. My mom split our usual and one of my nephews ordered his usual. Then we went next door to Sushi Hana. We went back at 3:11pm and my other nephew ordered his usual. As we were walking out he noticed there wasn’t any lychee in it. I went back in and the server agreed there wasn’t any. He then put lychee into a different cup and asked if he could use the old drink to pour into the new drink. I agreed but thought it was odd that he didn’t make a new drink for my nephew. Anyhow my nephew said it wasn’t the same but I didn’t go back in again to complain. Then today 8/5 we went in again and my mom and I split the Hokkaido pearl milk tea and it was really watered down, no tea flavor like usual. We always get it with no ice. I’ve been to this location a handful of times over the last few years. They usually get my drinks right, but today was absolutely awful. I ordered a blended matcha drink with 30% sweet and not only did it not taste anything like matcha, but it tasted more like dirty blended water. They need to check their blending machines, the ice they’re using, or something because this was absolutely disappointing. Can’t believe I spent my money on a drink that tastes like dirty water.

Response to Owner’s Message: Thank you for responding and offering complimentary drinks on my next visit! I am aware that customizing drinks to my preference of sweetness and using alternative milk can change the taste, but I’ve done this in the past and enjoyed my drink from here. For some reason, today, it did not remotely taste the same like my past orders. It literally tasted like dirty water from a garden hose, and there was no matcha taste at all. Went on a Sat.afternoon. Never seen anyplace so busy in my life- Like seriously. The line goes super fast and there’s not a long wait for having over 40 ppl in this small shop. Yes OVER 40, I stopped counting after 40 :-). The menu is unique and has a HUGE variety. Things I’ve never seen before. Most places don’t have blended coconut milk (which is what I get) but these guys did. It’s mixed with either pineapple or strawberry which I didn’t really want but I picked pineapple since there wasn’t plain coconut. It was surprisingly VERY GOOD. They have ice cream, real fruit, Oreo cookies blended drinks- just ALOT of stuff in there. So even if it looks BUSY- still go in and try it. The line goes really fast and no matter what you get. You will be happy with the outcome. My bow bow was $ 7.95. Which is about average. Two thumbs up from me- my only suggestion is to have JUST PLAIN coconut milk- but that’s just me being picky :-) super good place for boba drinks!
