Baja Fresh — Restaurant in Tualatin

At first we enjoyed going to this restaurant for salads and tacos. In the last few years the restaurant in lake oswego has significantly gone down hill in quality and the cooks intimidating nature has caused us to decide not to choose this restaursnt for any food purchases or anything for that matter. I order a grilled taco on flour torilla with fish on two occassions each time the cook put it on corn. I gently reminded the customer service cashiers that i ordered flour tortilla. It was communicated to the cook by the customer service cashiers that i ordered flour torilla again, apparently ,the cook expected me to eat what ever he made me disregarding my order for grilled taco on flour torilla because after i brought it to the customrr service persons attention the cook stared at me with an intimidating blank face and he proceeded to stare at me moving his body back and forth between the stainless steel counter poles for a long duration of time. I did not back down from my emotional gaurd of my spirit and watched his every move in defense of my body and emotional wellbeing in case he decided to harm me physically i could see and defend myself. I felt emotionally harmed already from the cooks behavior. . I felt i had to watch carefully because i did not know if i was going to have to defend myself from him physically. I will never spend my money at Baja Fresh Lake Oswego again. We have noticed that there is no racial diversity in the employment long term over the course of the approx 14 years experience we have with the restaurant. which is concerning . I brought the matter of the floir torilla and the cooks intimidating behavior to the managers attention and he stated he will serve me anytime i want service. However we have decided to never spend our money at this restaurant ever again because we do not feel safe in it and we know the cook will not serve us quality food and what we ordered . We expect friendly service in even the cooks, and management and good food that is prepared correctly. I would give 0 stars if the option...

Was really disappointed. We had a huge order. Ordered online. When I came to pick up, the lady tried to give me someone else's order insisting it was mine and I told her that it was not. Showed her my online receipt. When I finally got my order, you are allowed 3 salsas per order entree order, we had 8 in total, they would only give me enough for 3. I took my order and checked it in the car and noticed that they missed the chips & queso. Went back inside to let them know and they tried to tell me if was in there. I told them it was not. But they insisted so I went back to double check to make sure I didn't miss it. Went back inside to tell them it was not in the bag, they continued to tell me that it was and described it to me. I assured them that it was not included and they made ones of the employees come out with me to check it. Sure enough, no queso and chips. So we went back inside AGAIN, this time they apologized. But I was so furious by this point at all the times they kept questioning me and to seriously argue with me over an order of chips & queso was ridiculous. Like I would waste my time going back and forth trying to scam an order of chips and queso. Maybe I'm making a bigger deal out of it then needed, but it was frustrating that they would argue with me over every little thing....

Baja Fresh catered our wedding and it was such a positive experience! When I contacted them I got to speak directly to the catering manager, Israel. He was very professional and accommodating. He talked me through the different options and special platters they can do if we would like. He also told us what the best value options are which was so helpful! We went in to taste the food and Israel sat down with us and described the different options while we tried samples of all the things we would have on the menu! The food is all grass fed and fresh from the area, and they prepare all the food themselves the morning of the wedding! Plus they delivered and set up with all the supplies we needed for only $25! The wedding day went very smoothly, and everyone at the wedding LOVED the food. We just kept getting compliment after compliment on it.

In summary, Having Baja Fresh cater our wedding was the easiest and best wedding planning experience they had. You get high quality food at a great value. The employees go above and beyond to make sure you get exactly what you are looking for. I would recommend them to anyone for a wedding or...
