Let me preface this by saying I have been coming to this specific Panda Express location for years as a once-a-monthish lunch destination as it is less than a mile from my office. Throughout the years I have never had any issues, the lines always move quickly and even if you choose to wait for more of an item to get made you typically are in and out whether drive thru or walk in you are in and out within 10 minutes.
I came to Panda Express on 7/25/18 and noticed the drive thru was full and no one really inside so I parked and went in. There were only two guests ahead of me. Apparently one of the people ahead of me needed to wait for more of an item to be made, and because of this we all had to wait... After about 15 minutes I was asked what I wanted and the employee at the front of the line put some rice in a box and set it aside. After about 5 minutes of waiting for employee #2 to ask me what entrees I would like I asked employee #1 why he was simply putting sides in boxes (he had lined up about 10, and at this point the walk in line behind me is almost out the door) and not finishing peoples orders to move the line along - the question was answered by a blank stare... 5 minutes later employee #2 comes back and asks me what entrees I would like, and then cannot find the box employee #1 had put the rice in, I told him the box only had rice and he could just make another and he was very confused. He went through the stacks of boxes by employee #1 and after about 2 minutes of this I said "You know what, never mind Ill get lunch somewhere else, before I leave can you get me the business card of your general manager?" Blank stares from employee #1 and #2... "Can you get me his name and number?" Again, stares.... I left and called back about 2 hours later asking for the managers contact information to which the employee said "Can you just call back later!?"
I ended up filing a complaint to corporate, to which I received an email saying someone would get back to me, but as of now this has not happened.
I did give the restaurant another shot, I went back today (7/31) and stopped next to the drive thru as it was full and there was another car also waiting to enter the drive thru line. I waited for 7 minutes and when the line had not moved aside from 1 car I went to another restaurant in the area who makes all their food to order; ordered lunch, ate lunch then left. To my surprise, horror and amazement the drive thru line had only moved 3 cars through!!! I had to have been in the other restaurant for 15 or 20 minutes.
Needless to say I don't think I am going to give this location any more chances until enough time has elapsed that they correct their training/staff issues. For a place where all the food is typically already cooked, and the employees are simply filling to go boxes with food I have absolutely no idea how the ticket processing time...

As I am walking on a employee is telling everyone by and one goes running from the back out the front door and around the corner.. I stand there in disbelief thinking someone is going to take my order as the whole place and drive thru are EMPTY.. Nope. I stand there, and stand there and stand there until the cook says something about someone being right with me and then says something in Spanish to someone that I can't see. Still no one comes to take my order. At this time the person that had ran outside comes back in.. THAT IS THE COUNTER PERSON!! Mariela!!! Mariela was supposed to be helping but She was running outside and they all let me stand there!!! Or the drive thru lady with the black jacket on that continued to fill the empty drive through cups and lids.. She was asked by the cook to help me... Ignored.. I have no words for how disrespectful your staff is! I stopped visiting your business because the staff is rude and the food is never the same. It is never full or hot and it depends on who is cooking it if it is even edible. I feel sad that I picked your restaurant for my dinner tonight. I paid you to treat me bad and serve be garbage. Read moreWe ordered 2 dinner plates with 2 entrees each, a large lemonade and an Honest Tea. A man at the table blocking the front door (no drive through window area) told me to go around the side and pick up the meals at the next table. I walked up to the table like he instructed me and got our order.
The bottled tea was room temperature so we went back to get ice. A different man started screaming and yelling at me that I couldn't get out of the car because it was a liability to them. Okay, that was contrary to the other man's instructions. I told him I needed ice because the bottle of tea was not cool. He said they'd bring it out. So what did they do? Put a small cup of ice on their table and let it sit there. They made no attempt to bring it out. The only way I could get it was to risk his berating me again and get out to take it fom the table.
The food itself is also room temperature and was that way when we received it.
I DO NOT recommend anyone purchase from this location. They're rude, inconsistent in their instructions and their lukewarm food is poor at best. They even gave us only 1 pack of soy sauce for the 2 plates, despite my...
