V nails and spa (Next to The UPS Store ) — Local services in Tualatin

The place is clean and nice inside. I went with my mom and we both wanted different kinds of manicures; my mom loved hers. Too bad I didn't have the same woman do mine!!! I had very, very short nails, which was why I wanted to get tips and some type of mani! Please keep in mind that I have almost no experience having my nails done in a salon. I wanted dip powder (something I've never had) and tips because my real nails were so short, they weren't even grown out past my own fingertips, and I needed length and strength on them. I don't see the point of this manicure without tips on someone like me who's nails were EXTREMELY short at the time. I told all of this to woman doing my nails, before even looking at colours, expecting her to give me some kind of expectations, pr at the very least try to upsell at the opportunity to do so, and I was very open to that! But nope. I was given colours of dip powder to choose from; I saw they had ombre and wanted that, but I was given zero options for colours, effects, zero suggestions, advice, literally nothing. I told the woman several times I had not had this before, but she didn't guide me through the steps or tell me a vague idea even of what steps there were to a dip powder mani. She's the pro so I assume she'd walk me through it. She did not.

Not only did she not even give me nail tips (what the actual hell???!), the dip powder she used was very transparent pink, it was thick and lumpy. She did not bother to shape my nails whatsoever. She even removed a strip of powder at the base of each nail, detaching it from the cuticle but also making it appear already grown out in need of a fill! I've never seen such odd and bizarre choices. As soon as it was over, I was completely stunned: they looked HORRIBLE. No nail length/artificial tips! Short, misshapen, disgusting! There are terrible THICK glops on my hands! I immediately wanted to remove them. As my mom was thrilled with hers I didn't want to be negative in front of her(my mom did not have the same person working on her as me), but I otherwise NEVER would have paid for this. I cannot believe a licensed professional did these nails, because it honestly looks like a child did them. It's by far the worst manicure...

Wow amazing new nail salon in Lake Oswego!! Must go to see for yourself. V Nails & Spa is located next to SharedTea retail plaza. This nail salon has new owners and new name.

Today my family decided to check out this place. My wife and I wanted to get pampered because we work hard and never take time to treat ourselves. My wife and daughter both had manicures and pedicures. I myself had a pedicure.

The Staff were beyond friendly and provided amazing service. They really were attentive to us and the quality of service. We could tell they were passionate in their profession. Customer service here is beyond words. My wife keeps raving about this place and how she never experienced such VIP service. Now she demands I take her regularly. I guarantee you will have the same experience. I give V Nails & Spa 5 Stars!!!

I initially came to this place because of the stellar reviews that I read online. Unfortunately this was not my experience. I got a fill done here and and extremely unhappy with the results. Not only did they assign me to a nail tech that was her first day but she repeatedly hurt my fingers during the appointment and did not know where anything in the store was. Then they transferred me over to a second lady to fix the nail polish application which did not improve the end result. Finally a third lady came to "fix" my nails from the beginning which was promising until she started applying the nail polish. The end result turned out thick and uneven with polish all over the front of the nail. When I asked her to fix it she told me this is how it's done. Although they did try to fix my nails as much as they could, I am very unhappy with the service here and will most likely not be coming here again for an acrylic...
