Our group came here for lunch for the $10 for 10 wings special that also includes fries and a drink. Some of the group got the bone in and boneless chicken options and a couple got the cauliflower option. We ordered sodas and lemonade. Most places just do an upcharge for a lemonade (since it's only a 50 cent difference), at no time did the waitress say we'd be charged full price. We were asked if we wanted celery and carrots, we all said yes, but I opted for all carrots and someone else opted for all Celery. At no time did she point out that they were separate and you were supposed to pic one or the other, we were all upcharged $1 for getting both or a double order of one..
We had to ask twice where our drinks were and they were finally brought after the food came out. The wings were great, lots of flavors, sauce and rubs, to choose from. You were able to get sweet potato fries and those were really good.
Once food was served, we were never checked in on. We had to flag our waitress down multiple times to ask for silverware and ask for refills. Those of us with lemonade asked to switch to water. We had to flag her down 3 more times for the status of refills. When they finally arrived, those of us with lemonade received lemonade refills instead of water.
We had to eventually flag another server to ask our server to bring the checks. When the checks arrived, the wings were rang up for the original $15 full price, plus the $2.50 for the sides of fries, plus $2 for the celery/carrots, and $3/$3.50 for the drinks. Those that had lemonade had an extra $3.50 for a refill, which we never ordered. So a $10 special was now almost $23-$27. We asked for corrected checks and boxes. She came back with corrected checks and no boxes, $11 for those with sodas and $15 for those with lemonade. We wound up asking for boxes again when she took our cards, and again when she brought the cats back without boxes.
Based on a tight schedule for lunch due to work, we'd never come back based on...
Read moreThis place is hilarious. I went on a Monday to watch football, drink beer and have some food. There was no bartender. I sat myself at a table. There was no service. I walked around looking for the bathroom and I finally saw someone who looked like they work there and started asking where the bathroom was, she cut me off saying, "in the back", and walked away. I came out of the bathroom, still no bartender. The one person I think is a server, that "helped" me find the bathroom is missing. Another young lady that is dressed in all black with a t shirt on with the company logo, walks past me twice, never even making eye contact. Since I never saw her work, I can't say for sure if she works there. A man walked in and asked her a question, I couldn't hear them, but after her response, he left with a confused look on his face. This lady then walked past me again, avoiding eye contact. On purpose. I'm sitting at a table with no menu, no drink, nothing, and she walked right by me. Still no bartender. 8:30 on a Monday night, where only a handful of tvs had the game on, and they were all on mute so we could enjoy the generic pop music they were playing instead. I waited. 10 more minutes. No bartender, no server, no hostess, nothing. The sign on the door claims they're open till midnight on Mondays, but that must just indicate when they lock the door, because they were quite obviously closed for business during the first quarter of a football game, at a "sports bar", and it's evidently a secret they leave you to puzzle out...
Read moreFor lunch, I thought I would treat myself to a small guilty pleasure (6 wings, fries, celery). Upon arrival, There was no one present at the host station to greet me on arrival, and several other customers were already waiting for orders when I walked in (one for a hot dog and cheesecake ~a delivery driver for GH whom already was waiting for 30+ mins, another for a few wings as well) The restaurant had a very low number of patrons. My order was placed online well ahead of my arrival. My estimate pick up time was 1:03-1:15pm, I arrived at approx 1:10. The manager walked over at one point (1:21) to see if I had been served, however, his demeanor was unpleasant and disgruntled. He told that my food was being bagged at 1:23 (even tough I could clearly hear the kitchen still preparing the order), I didn’t receive my food until 1:40 . The bartender was kind in his efforts to keep everyone calm, while we waited, and to just show his attentiveness. This will be my last time ordering or seeking services from this venue, the rationale provided was “a large catering order to come in, and any orders placed prior to that order (yes I said prior to that order), had to wait for that catering order.” Were it not for me having placed the order online and the hassle for receiving a refund, I would’ve left with my food and just waited for the refund. All of this occurred during my lunch break. Thanks Hudson Grille (Tucker) for causing me to have to use annual leave on my...
