This place used to be one of my favorite Mexican joints, but the quality of the food has gone down, the prices have gone up (still fairly reasonable) and the service sucks now. Multiple times I’ve called to place an order and no one picked up (after multiple calls over 10-15 min period. Recently I went in at 2pm… not crowded AT ALL and waited 20 minutes for TACOS.

Finally I went in again today. Ordered a $9 burrito; I added jalapeños and asked for extra cilantro/onions.

My order came out to $11.80. $1 extra for jalapeño, $1 extra for a lil bit extra cilantro/Onion. I can understand charging .75 extra for cilantro when you order a meal and they bring you a small bowl but 22% ($2/9) of the cost of the burrito for the tiny bit of extras I’m asking for is silly & unreasonable.

I still go cuz it’s conveniently located but not at all exciting about it like I was in the last. I’ve posted a screenshot of my happy 4 star review from 2...

The food is good but this business practices are not my cup of tea. My daughter orders her food first, 4 tacos. Then I ordered the rest of our to go order, It came out $55.41 I put $3 cash in the tip jar before paying the order. When their clover machine broke everything down the total already had a 10% gratuity charge which isn’t optional or removable. Well after a long 40 min wait our food came out and as I check that everything is there I notice my daughter’s tacos are missing. I tell the woman that took our order and she said we hadn’t ordered tacos. God help me I tell my daughter to just order her food so we can wait another hour for it, well the total for 4 tacos was $17.24 again with the added 10% Never again! I rather eat taco bell and that tells you everything about my...

Two stars for the food to stars for the customer service I walked in and was not busy at all I got my order placed the cash year was friendly and even asked me how my day was even if it wasn't genuine I appreciate things such as this goes a long way in my book. The food was nothing to write home about but not bad either. Could use a little garlic inside of the beans. The corn tortillas did not taste like someone put a iron to it, they actually were steamed properly. Paid $12 for chicken plate and 3.50 for an extra side of rice and beans also they charge a dollar for lines which I never ran into before but the ticket came to $15 plus I gave a $5 tip for good customer service. Not at all a cheap bite which was recommended to me by Google. Overall this is not a bad...

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! This is a lovely hole in the wall that has incredible, truly authentic, from scratch Mexican food, and at very reasonable prices! I am in love with both their chicken and pork tamales, which are the size I expect from a tamale (two is enough for a nice meal!) and their al pastor taco was also lovely! This is a no frills place, so if you want a fancy atmosphere, you'll want to go elsewhere, but I enjoy their home-y decor and they really deliver on the food! We plan to visit again soon! I'm so glad you're here! My food was so good, I meant to take a photo and forgot until after I finished 😂

Overall great vibe! Went with some friends to get some lunch. The food I chose were the burrito any choice of meat. Good price as it was $8.50 for a big steak burrito. The big burrito was quite filling and tasty. The chips came out warm so that was nice! I could also see that the local Hispanics liked the food. Many were dining in and ordering food to takeout with. You rarely see that in other Mexican restaurants, where you can’t see a lot of Hispanic people. So I could see this restaurant is a genuine one. Will be coming back for another meal.
