The Local No. 7 — Restaurant in Tucker

I hateeeee leaving these reviews but i do review often & sometimes feel its fair to have both views not just the positive. I was wishing to really like this place esp from the reviews but did not.

Had the shroom burger and that thing was sooooo dry and tasteless. I 1st asked for fries then told him if tots whats more popular then I'll try them instead and still got the fries. Also asked for added tomato and onions and didnt get them w/the burger, he noticed & said he'll go get it. That burger was asked as a medium and usually mediums are so juicy and tasty and this was not. Now i also asked for GF bread which i am aware that not many have trat GF bread, and this one was sooooo hard. I took maybe 2 bites & couldnt anymore. I left the bun. Very disappointing at the entire meal. Not worth it at all. I never in my life ate soooooo slow and drank soooo much water while trying to eat (a burger). I also wonder if the chili soup won that award many yrs ago. I wont say it was thee worst chili ive had but it def wasnt the best. Im happy i got a cup vs a bowl. Usually places ill return and try something else this one unfortunately is a NO go for me. Foods so dry and not good that i still forcefully feel it in my throat, hasnt gone dwn. The service was good. The environment was good too. Plates broken etcetc.

Took a vid after a few bites. Trust me that thing looks 100000% better than what it looks. After getting the stuff that was missed. And still wasnt good.

Every table had either salad or tots. I shouldve stook to that. But figured this didnt look like an all salad place. I was wrong.

Side note: someone needs to talk to the owner of that bldg. Ladies that bthrm was absolutely filth. I usually goto bthrm to wash hands and it was oh so disgusting. To use the stall was so nasty the walls were so dirty and contagious. You have to use gloves & napkins to just close and open the door....

(Updated again) - 1 star (July 2022) So I came back again.. wont anymore. Not only was the service slow as usual, this time the food was awful across the board. One of our meals smelt rancid and the other two meals were just not good. There was also a leak from the ceiling htting our table. I would have mentioned it but our waitress never came till our food was ready. Never got a drink till our food as well.

(Update) - 2 stars (June 2022) I've come here several times and would easily give a 4-5 star rating. Solid food, solid service, takes awhile to get the food but its always been worth it. That being said, my last visit lead to us having to leave to go to what is my new spot for this part of town, Ford's BBQ. I tend to bring people here because the food and (until now) service is great which makes for a great place to discuss business. Every time I come we request and get a booth with no issue and its always been a single other person with me. I do this because we are discussing business and I bring my laptop so I need a bit more room. We asked to sit in a booth and we were totally cool with waiting but we were turned away as the booths are apparently for parties bigger than 2. I offered to order enough food for 3 and we were still told no. We could blatantly see a party of 2 sitting in a booth and we were the only people waiting to be sat in the building. I guess Billie Eilish didn't approve of us. We left and proceeded to go spend enough for 3, in a booth, at Ford's BBQ across the street. Hope the group bigger than 2 that waited for a booth was worth it.

(Original) - 4 Stars (First visit, middle of 2021) My first local resteraunt when moving to Atlanta and I love it. Solid food across the board but parking can be a pain and they take forever to bring food. I'd give them 4 stars for that but I keep coming back so clearliy the wait is...

Great service and atmosphere with delicious food and drinks. If you are eating in the Tucker area, you have to eat at Local 7.

Food 5/5 I have never had anything here that wasn't absolutely delicious. I always seem to gravitate toward the Little John burger though (egg and bacon burger) and add lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, and garlic aioli mayo. Saturdays are special: smoked ribs and chicken are made all day with limited quantities in the evening. Cocktails are also on point (I suggest the Apple Crusher - ginger beer, Bushmill whiskey, apple juice, and a lime).

Building 5/5 The décor and atmosphere of the restaurant is a perfect addition to Main Street Tucker. It feels like a local bar/pub but is well-maintained and clean when you eat or drink there. Large booths are available for 6-8 person parties while the two-tops and high tables can be kept solo or pushed together.

Service 5/5 If the food and atmosphere don't get you, the service will. All staff are very attentive and helpful. If you need anything, the servers and hosts are on it. The bartenders are always churning out great cocktails and freshly-poured beers for the bar and the whole dining room. Cooks take care to prepare exactly what you want and how you want it, but quickly too. I have been there more times than I can count and have never once heard the irritated words, "can I speak to your manager?" It just does not...
