Baggin's Gourmet Sandwiches & Catering on Valencia — Restaurant in Tucson

THIS PLACE SUCKS!!! we have ordered 3 times from them and every time the order is wrong and it takes over 2 hours to get it. they always quote us 1 hour until delivery. they don't have the common courtesy to call us and let us know they are running behind. when I called to check on the order after 2 hours the rude girl on the phone told me its still there and its going out now but I can come pick it up if I didn't like how long it was taking. the manager Paula was super nice though. She gave us 4 free meals but after today I will not EVER be placing another order with them. they definitely lost a huge company's business.

UPDATE: after we called again to check on our order they told us 20 minutes. 35 minutes later our food finally came. the cowboy was cold.....again. this is the second time I ordered the Chinese sesame noodles as a side and it was forgotten again. I ordered a cobb salad and a Caesar salad and got 2 cobb salads with Caesar and honey mustard dressing when it was supposed to be blue cheese. I cant believe this place is still in business. called in my order approx. 510pm sundown no mayo, the take a while so i figured call in would be best. go pick up sandwich approx 525pm, and its my fault i should have checked my sandwich before i left because I always get wrong order, stuoid me for continuing to go there again my fault. i get back to work and i only have 30 mins for lunch and low and behold extra damn mayo it looks like, i could see if they were slammed and like super busy but it was almost closing time!? I them spoke with brianna who said shes the manager on duty and she heard me out but didn't try to fix anything, i asked her if i saved sandwich for proof if i could get my money back ? she said sure that was it. so im gna go get my 12 bucks back! Had to wait far too long - almost 30 minutes - to get one sandwich, with only one person working the counter. One other person seemed to be just the drink pourer. Still, i was the third person in line. They were out of the special but had not bothered to take the sign down that advertised it, which was within an arm's reach of the counter.

Fairly average sandwich. The bread was very soft, not toasted, sort of like grocery store white bread. 😜 The special advertised toasted sourdough, so I just assumed mine would be toasted. It tasted nothing like sourdough.

It's easy to see why Baggins has not risen to the ranks of Jimmy John's or Subway. They have a passable sandwich, but they have a poor, inefficient operation. And the place is not very clean or orderly.

It's not cute, quaint, or 'local' to keep people waiting 1/2 hour for a simple, plain sandwich.

Jimmy Johns is better and faster....
